ChatterPix Kids is a creative expression app that allows children ages 5-12 to create animated
photos with their voiceover. Students take or select a photo of their choice, draw a mouth line,

For my lesson, students will be selecting an animal of their choice and research three facts
about the animal on https://www.pebblego.com. Then students will create a presentation using
ChatterPix Kids. The presentation must include a picture of the animal, the name of the animal,

Reflection
Indicator 2c Leader of the ISTE Standards for Educators states, "Model for colleagues the
identification, exploration, evaluation, curation, and adoption of new digital resources and tools
for learning" (ISTE, 2021). I used this standard to identify and explore an app that I have not
used very much to learn and determine if this would be beneficial for my students. Making the
tutorial also helped me achieve this goal as I explored and reviewed the digital tool for student
learning. I also achieved these goals through indicator 6d Facilitator "Model and nurture
creativity and creative expression to communicate ideas, knowledge, or connections." Using the
screen-recording tool, I model how to navigate and use ChatterPix Kids to students. Students will

achieve all parts of indicator 6 Creative Communicator while using ChatterPix Kids. Students
will use the app to meet objectives while creating original works based on research they
conducted. Students will also use the app to communicate their research and present it to their
peers. The content standard for first grade that is met through creation and presentation is
2021). If students were to create a tutorial video, they would present it to the class using their
gathered and designed information. In the lesson, students will be making a presentation using
the app ChatterPix Kids to their class about their chosen animal.
One thing that I would have changed about my tutorial video is to design a script to read
from while conducting the tutorial. This would help keep my thoughts in order and ensure I do
not forget to say something about my subject. It took me several tries to get a recording I was
content with submitting due to forgetting what to say or saying the wrong thing while recording.
Another thing I wish I could have done differently is the technology I used to record my tutorial.
Since my students use iPads in class, I should have used an iPad to record the how-to video so
the app will look how it would on their screen. Unfortunately, I could not get the app onto
