Reminders during Synchronous
Meetings
1. Always be ON TIME.
2. Keep your audio muted unless there’s an instruction from the professor to unmute and participate from the discussion.
3. Submit related questions using the discussion box.
4. Keep the discussion box away from personal conversations.
5. Read previous posted questions to avoid flooding in the discussion box.
6. When you are requested to turn on your video, please do so. Make sure you have safe background before turning on
the video to avoid embarrassing and/or scandalous situation.

7. Use the “Raise Your Hand” option and wait to be acknowledged during discussions.
8. Be brief and concise.
9. Remember to say “Please” and “Thank You” when asking for help.
10. Reach out to your professor if you have questions/issues.
11. Do not leave the conference call until it is necessary.

Reminders during Asynchronous
Meetings
• Asynchronous meetings are not necessarily be present online.
• You are expected to accomplish the tasks during the scheduled meeting set by the registrar.
• All activities have time limit.
• You are strategically given with ample amount of time to finish the task, therefore, NO EXTENSION for the deadlines.
• If you have questions/concerns, address it during the specified time. Professors have classes and personal activities other
than your class. Please be mindful and respectful.

Examination Protocols

• Any exam will be conducted through online, rather by using MS Forms or by Google
Forms or Quizizz.
• Any exam that require problem solving will be given enough time to solve and
compile their solutions.
• Let’s practice honesty all together! Everything’s online now and cheating has never
been so easy until now.

•For Examinations, the Google/MS Forms/Quizizz will contain


instructions. Please read the instruction carefully.
•The main exam, composed of 30-item multiple choice and
5-item problem set in which you only required to choose at
least 2 problems.

•Solution must be uploaded in the given space where you can upload the
file. The format must be PDF. Please convert your files in this file format.
•Your solution in the problem solving MUST FOLLOW the guidelines for
sample set for problem set.
•The examination duration is only 2.5 hours, leaving a 30-minute interval
for online submission.

Major Exams

•Failure to submit the exam within 15 minutes after the 3-hr


period must consult directly to me using MS Teams, and explain
the difficulties in submitting the solution. With sufficient and valid
reasons, considerations will be applied. The student must still
submit his/her solution once granted with consideration.

•Any student who will not take the exam prior to the time and date
specified by the instructor MUST explain his/her side why he/she
will not be able to take the exam. Once the explanation was
deemed valid, he/she can take the exam. Any other instances for
avoiding or skipping the exam will be prohibited.

Submission of Requirements:
All requirements must follow certain format as instructed.
For Problem Sets and Sample Sets, the format will be:
- Letter size document (8.5” x 11”)
- Font style must be “SEGOI UI”.
- The body of the document’s font size is 12. The title must be in bold typeface with font
size 18.
- Narrow margin setting
- No linespacing
- Portrait orientation (unless told otherwise)
- Can use as many pages as you can. (unless told otherwise)

Weekly Short Quiz
• Time-bound quiz • Can be multiple choice, true or false, identification, or
• Can be taken after accomplishing the recorded video enumeration
or attending synchronous discussion • Should be answered without any help from the

- PLEASE, use a formal profile picture and put your whole name in the communication lines. The use of “bHoSzXs GaNdUh”,
“Mitsuha Miyamizu”, “Goddess Jihyo”, and alike as your name together with the use of their pictures as your profile picture can
lead to confusion and trouble.
- Every communication, either by group or by individual, can be done in MS Teams.
- All transactions must be done within MS Teams, unless told by the instructor.
- Messages and inquiries are recorded within the channel. Please observe proper behavior in addressing your concerns. Always
put respect over anything else.
