GUIDELINES IN SHORT FILM MAKING

1. The short film should run for a maximum of three 10 minutes only including opening and closing credits.
2. All footage must be shot following the IATF protocol. No need to convene as one group you can shot in
your own scene/s in your respective houses.
3. Entries should be original. In accordance to the copyright laws, music used in an entry can be original,
licensed or in the public domain (ask permission from the composer/ give credits at the end).
4. Existing footage including but not limited to TV commercial and music videos may be used as a prop or
a set piece in a scene.
5. Entries should not contain any offensive or inappropriate language, image and/or content.
6. The video should be appropriate for general viewership.
7. Films need not be in English.
8. Any type of video camera, cellphones or if you have DSLR cameras capable of filming may be used.
9. Animation and computer graphics are also permitted.
10. The films must not be viewed publicly before the submission.
11. The film must be clearly content-related to:
a. intercultural/interfaith relationship f. Sacrifice
and conflict, g. Justice
b. discrimination and prejudice, h. Transformation
c. success stories, i. Rescue
d. love story not only limited to j. Pursuit
romantic relationship, k. Ambition
e. Redemption l. Loss of Loved Ones
12. It should have a moral lesson.
