1. Introduction
Indo Danish Tool Room (IDTR) Jamshedpur has been set up by Govt. of India in collaboration with Govt. of Denmark, Govt.
of India and Govt. of Bihar in the year 1991. IDTR & its Extension Centre at TRTC Patna Conducts NCVT approved ITI courses
in following trades:

All candidates have to submit the copy of Aadhar card compulsorily at the time of admission. SC/ST/OBC candidates
have to submit caste certificate issued not below the rank of Magistrate/ SDM/ SDO. Physically handicapped candidates
have to submit proof of disability. Candidates should not send any original certificate along with the application form.
Physically handicapped candidates should be able to stand without any support and work with both the hands freely. They
should be capable of wearing safety shoes.
Reservation of Seats for SC/ST/OBC/EWS/PH as per the norms of State Government. If any SC / ST / OBC/ physically
handicapped candidate selected on merit in General Category his name will be published in General Category list.
All applications are to be addressed to The Managing Director, duly super scribed on the envelope “Application for ITI
Course”. IDTR will not be responsible for any postal delay.
3. Age limit: Between 14 to 40 years as on 01/08/2021. For Widows of martyrs, upper age limit is relaxed up to 45 years.

Tuition fee should be paid within 10 days from the starting of every semester i.e. in the month of September and March.
The Students who fails to deposit the fees within the stipulated time has to pay a fine of Rs. 20/- per day including
Sunday & holiday up to another three weeks after which the trainee will not be allowed in the Training Centre.
Selected candidates will have to produce a Medical Certificate of fitness from a Registered Medical Practitioner and an
agreement bond on a prescribed format available in the website. Color Blind Students are not advised to join this course.

5. Uniform
The trainees will have to come to the institute with proper uniform as per the color and design specified by the Tool Room.
They have to wear industrial shoes and safety goggles at the workplace.
6. Risks and Hazards
The Tool Room shall take all precautionary measures with regard to safety. However, the Trainees should decide to join the
course at their own free will and at their own risk. In case of any injury or any disablement (temporary / permanent)
suffered by the trainees during the course due to any accident or otherwise the Tool Room shall not be liable to pay any
compensation whatsoever. The trainees and their guardians (in case of minors) shall indemnify the Tool Room on this
account. Without prejudice to the above condition of engagement of trainees at the Tool Room, the trainees may insure
themselves against the risk of accident and / or other industrial hazards for their engagement at the Tool Room as trainees
for which insurance premium shall be paid by the trainees themselves. On the specific request of trainees, the Tool Room
can arrange Group Insurance subject to the premium for this being paid by the trainees.
7. Syllabus and Assessment
The syllabus for the courses, theory as well as practical shall be as given per the NCVT. Prescribed syllabus is available in the
DGET portal http://www.dget.nic.in/content/innerpage/trade-syllabus.php. The scheme for assessment of the progress of
trainees through Examinations leading to the award of Certificates on completion of training is as per the NCVT guidelines.
8. Attendance, Time Keeping and Conduct
Minimum attendance necessary for appearing in the examination is 80% provided one attains the requisite proficiency.
However it is desired that the students should strive to achieve 100% attendance. No relaxation in the minimum
attendance towards eligibility for appearing at the Semester Examination shall be allowed. For more details regarding

9. Hostel Fees
The trainees admitted as boarders shall pay the following fees;
i. The Security & Mess Security Deposit are refundable to the Boarders without any interest, when they vacate the
hostel after adjustment of pending dues, if any.
ii. The boarders will pay the Establishment charge & Electricity charges in every six-month within 10 days from the
starting of semester and with a late fee of Rs. 20/- per day for next three weeks.
iii. Hostel will be allotted only after receiving a request from the parents/guardians of the trainees. Similarly the
trainee can leave the hostel only after getting consent from the parents/ guardians.
iv. Hostel fees are payable on semester basis and the trainees will not get the balance hostel fees even if he/she
leaves the hostel in between the semester.
