GAMES: (ICON BEATER) The students will try their best to guess the different
application icon showed by the teacher in her PowerPoint presentation.
In connection with the strategy in establishing a purpose, the teacher will solicit ideas
from the class about software application using the KWL Chart.

C. ANALYSIS
The teacher will solicit ideas to the students about the previous activity.
D. Abstraction
Application software is a type of software that allows you to perform specific tasks.
Applications for desktop or laptop computers are sometimes called desktop
applications, while those for mobile devices are called mobile apps.
Games: There are many types of games you can play on your computer.
Gmail: You can use the Gmail app to easily view and send emails from
your mobile device. It's available for Android and iOS devices.

D. GENERALIZATION:
Process the students’ answers in the KWL chart. The teacher will facilitate the progress
of lesson using the last part of the chart. (what they learned?)
Application Software
E. APPLICATION:
The class will be divided into four (5) groups. The students will think of at least 3 best
application software that they think might be useful in dealing with their other subject
areas. Each group will be given at least 6 minutes to finish the chart given by the
teacher and present their charts in front of the class. The students will rank their chosen
application from the most important ones to the least.
