Good day!
 
In order to make the training effective and efficient, we need to introduce the following
guidelines. Everyone’s understanding and cooperation will do much to make our training as
helpful as possible for all.
 
 
1.    Before the training
 
a.    Download and install the zoom application (https://zoom.us/download)
 
b.    Rename your Zoom name using the following format:
 
Name of trainee - Company name (For example: Juan dela Cruz – Envia
Consultancy)
 
c.    Once the installation is complete, the application will automatically
open. Click the “Join a Meeting” button and enter the meeting ID and password.
Please note that each day will have a different meeting ID and password.

d.    Click mute button (to the left of the Mic control on the meeting startup screen)
to test if you can hear or be heard well. Check too that your device volume is
properly adjusted. If you encounter a technical problem, chat with our technical
support team.
 
e.    Maximize the quality of your connectivity by closing other Internet sites and
apps that share your bandwidth, if possible.
 
f.     For the best training experience, we recommend that all participants use laptops
and the google chrome browser.
 
g.    Join the meeting 15 minutes early
 
2.    During the training
 
a.    Please stay muted unless you are asked to speak. The mute button is the
leftmost button on the bar at the bottom of your screen.
 
b.    If you are having audio difficulties, kindly click the small arrow beside the mute
button. Select the appropriate microphone and speaker, then click “Test Speaker and
Microphone.” If the problem still persists, please click the chat button on the bottom
bar and notify the technical support team.
 
c.    Please keep your video on at all times during the training as this is a
requirement of the Environmental Management Bureau. The video button can be
found at the left side of the bottom bar.
 
d.    If you are using your computer, the chat button can be found at the middle of
the bottom bar. Clicking it will trigger the chat box. Type your message in the
assigned space and click enter to send.
 
If you are using your mobile phone, click the “More” button, which is the rightmost
button on the bottom bar, then click “Chat.” Tap your message in the assigned space
and when you’re done, click send.
 
Please only use the chat box to ask questions and post relevant comments.
 
e.    During the presentations, all participants can ask questions using the chat box.
These questions shall be addressed during the question and answer portion after
each presentation on a first come, first served basis.
 
f.     Screenshots of all the participants shall be taken. Please bear in mind that these
screenshots are among the requirements of the EMB for your accreditation as PCOs.
 
g.    Be on time. This will not only ensure that you will capture all important
information shared in the training, but it will also minimize distractions each time
someone joins the meeting while it is already in progress.
