DEMONSTRATION TEACHING

I. Objectives:

At the end of the lesson, the pupils should be able to:


a. Identifies the Things Needed to Clean Oneself (Grooming Products);
b. Associate the Grooming Products on what part of the body to be used; and
c. Appreciates and keeps the body clean and neat.

II. Subject Matter:

Lesson: Things Needed to Clean Oneself (Grooming Products)

Materials: Pictures, Charts, Power point presentation

III. Learning Tasks


A. Preparatory Activities
1. Customary Greetings
a. Prayer
b. Checking of attendance

2. Motivation
Call one representative in the class and let her/him see his/her image in the mirror. Ask them if what
are the things they do or apply to their body to make them look nice and neat.

B. Development of the Lesson

1. Presentation, Discussion and Analysis


a. Show the basket of Grooming Products.
b. Present each Grooming Products and Name them one by one.
c. Explain to the pupils the use of the Grooming Products and in what part of the body to be used.

2. Application:
Present the “Name Me” challenge. The pupils will tell the name of the grooming products. Pupils who got the answer
correct will get a reward.

3. Generalization:
Remember: Your life is in your hands so always keep our body clean and neat for us to be free from germs and
sickness.

IV. Evaluation:
Put a check on the picture ( / )if it belongs to the Grooming Products and ( X ) if not.
V. Assignment:

Bring a personal grooming kit with loose powder, comb, toothbrush, cologne, toothpaste, soap, t-shirt, and
short.
