1. Who are the contributors of the technological advances of the Information Age?
Galileo, Copernicus, and Sir Isaac Newton
2. Aside from communication, what other aspects of society is/ are being influenced in the
Information Age?
Gaining information from technology or internet that leads to easier life when it comes to
developing a new medicine and in education.
3. What other technological advancements can possibly be developed in the future?
There are many technologies that could possibly develop just like Artificial Intelligence, android
development, Virtual Reality etc.
4. Which Generation do you belong that a kind of science technology existed? Please
explain it.
I’m belonging to Gen z wherein Mp4 is the technology that I have and a keypad cellphone.
5. What can you say about you being a human that is using technology in so many ways?
That there are advantages and disadvantages of using technology those advantages are using
technology to travel, to communicate, to learn, to entertain and to live in comfort. Technology
has made our lives easy. Technology has improved Communication, Transportation, and
Education & Learning process.
6. What is your meaning of Data?
Data is a collection of facts, such as numbers, words, measurements, observations or just

descriptions of things.
7. What kind of Society you are in right now. And explain the culture you have (with
technology or not)
The society that I am in right now is society that has technology wherein they use it in their daily
lives. Society that makes our life easier and do things in an instant in our days right now
technology is being part of everyday activity we use it to communicate with others and to learn
new things.
8. How long do you use your computer? Or a Computer? Does this technology helps you
find an important information?
Since when Im in junior high I’ve learn to use computer now I use it 2-4 hours a day to complete
my assignment/ activity and Yes it helps me to find important information especially right now
we are in pandemic the sources are limited we can’t go to library to find things so we can find/
search it through online.
9. What do you know about the World Wide Web?
World Wide Web connected the world in a way that was not possible before and made it much
easier for people to get information, share and communicate. It allowed people to share their
work and thoughts through social networking sites, blogs and video sharing. The world wide web
made it much easier for people to share information.
10. Why do you think that it is right that human evolve into using technologies?
Because evolution can happen by different mechanisms like natural selection and genetic drift.
As our environment is always changing, natural selection is always happening and technology
evolves to so we need to evolve for us to go with technology.
Do the Activities below.
1. Narrative Essay. Write a narrative essay that focuses on the evolution of transmission of
information in various time periods and areas of the world. Refer to Table 1 presented in
the discussion. The members may act in the video presentation and they can use props or
materials to improve the presentation. Limit the video presentation in three to five
minutes.
The transmission of information evolved from ancient times up until now it keeps evolving
because now we are using many advanced technologies to transfer information to others but in
ancient times they were used pigeons and humans to transfer information. Those evolution keeps
going to develop new things until almost things in world can do by technology. Before
technology evolve the lives of others now people cant be contented and keep developing new
technology because developing new technology can maybe help the needs of one person, From
year to year the evolution of technology is one of staggering promise and opportunity as well as
uncertainty. The future may be unknown, but digital advancement continues to reshape our
world in ways that encourage people to form new habits, find new ways to work together, and
become better human beings. And, in most cases, these changes translate into a range of
opportunities and disruptions across every industry.The current digital systems such as
computers, smartphones, tablets and laptops have evolved over time. The typewriter was
replaced by digital systems such as a computer and word processing software. Telephones have
evolved over time into versions that are portable such as mobile phones and, more recently,
smartphones. Those old technology become a display in our home.
2. Creative work. Think of a device with special features that you can develop to help
improve lives of people in our society. It could be something that you can develop to help
in communication, transportation, health, and the like. Illustrate your device in a short
bond paper.
Hearing impaired device is the best device that I want to improve in life because Assistive
technology helps people with hearing loss understand what is being said and communicate more
easily.
