2. Anne has 1 2/4 meters of ribbon. Bea has 2 4/ 5 meters more than Anne. How many meters of ribbon do
Anne and Bea have together?
3. A man harvested 12 ¼ kilograms of mangoes. He sold 9 3/5 kg and brought the rest home. How many
kilograms were brought home for his family?
4. Annie cut 9 5/6 meters of lace from a roll of 15 1/3 meters. How long is the
remaining lace?
5. Nancy prepared 6 ¾ kilograms of chicken legs and wings for their beach party. If
she cooked 2 1/3 kg of chicken legs and 2 ¾ kg of chicken wings, how many
kilograms were left uncooked?
