A. Introducti What I Need to know?

 There will be at least five learners that will be asked to react using the
emoticon in their google meet.
 The learner will explain why they feel that feeling seeing the picture.
 The teacher will show a picture where the learners need to explain how
communication changes over the years.

B. What I Know? (Self-audit)


Development  The learners will assess themselves.
 The learners will be given five minutes to answer the activity.
 The result of the assessment will be revealed and interpreted at the end
(5 minutes) of the activity.
What’s in?
 The learners will try to reflect to the results of their assessment.
(10 minutes)  The learners will be asked to share it to the class.

What is it?
(30 minutes)  Teacher will present a slide about communication and why do we
communicate.
 The learners will try to provide at least one scenario each nature of
communication.
 The learners will explain how it can be considered as an example of a
particular scenario. It will be supported by describing an effective
communication and its elements.
C. What’s more?
Engagement  The learners will think of communication transactions in their daily lives.
 The learners will explain and describe how these communicators interact
(SECOND DAY) or communicate with one another. He may recall a recent event that he is
(20 minutes) familiar with. Or the situation could be an event in the past that is still vivid
in his memory.
 The learner will focus on the function of communication.

What can I do?


(40 minutes)  The learners will conduct an interview to his parent/guardian, friend or a
relative. It will be supported by a short video clip together with a written
(THIRD DAY) document and signature.
Presentation of  The learner is expected to reflect on the process of performing the tasks
some outputs while focusing on their learned concepts about the nature, elements of
(60 minutes) communicate and its’ function.

D. What have I learned? (SHER SHARE!)


Assimilation  The learners will ask themselves the following questions:
(FOURTH DAY) o “What would our life and world be like without communication?”
o “Why is it important to make communication effective?”
(15 minutes)  The learners expected to relate their learned concepts to his personal life.
 The learners will be asked to share what they have learned creatively.
They will post their insights about the question above.
 The learners will include hashtags at the end of the post.

What I can do? (COMIC MO TO!)


 The learners will create a comic strip showing how they will communicate
to the community the advantages of the following health protocols and
guidelines amidst COVID-19 pandemic in their municipality or province.
(30 minutes) They may create online comic, but the scripts and text should be original.

Short Quiz
 The teacher will ask the students to log in to KAHOOT for their quiz.
 The learners will answer the quiz.
 The teacher will share their score individually.
(15 minutes)
V. REFLECTION The learner, in his notebook, journal or portfolio will write their personal insights
about the lesson using the prompts below.
