WITH TECHNOLOGY
ENHANCEMENTS AND
MORE EMPHASIS ON
THE ENVIRONMENT
Cummins is offering fuel system upgrades for your QSK60
equipment that offer cleaner emissions and the ability
to run equipment with upgraded components that can
improve your total cost of ownership.
Rebuild upgrade options:
■ QSK60 HPI to MCRS
■ QSK60 HPI to MCRS Advantage
OPTION 1 HPI –
HPI TO MCRS HIGH-PRESSURE
UPGRADE COMMON RAIL
BENEFITS Cummins HPI system is an
electronically controlled unit injection
■ 10% longer life between system using Tier 1 technology.
overhauls – Lower cost
of ownership
■ Particulate Matter (PM) MCRS –
emission reduction MODULAR
■ Up to 2% fuel savings
COMMON RAIL
■ Updated parts include:
Injectors, Fuel Pumps, FUEL SYSTEM
Turbos and Water Pump
The Cummins MCRS uses increased
injection pressure and larger injector
accumulator volume for reduced PM
and improved fuel economy. MCRS
utilizes Tier 2 technology.

ADVANTAGE COMMON RAIL
UPGRADE FUEL SYSTEM
BENEFITS MCRS Advantage uses Cummins latest
innovations in combustion technology
■ 10% longer life between overhauls from its Tier 4 engineering programs.
– Lower cost of ownership The high-pressure Tier 2 MCRS fuel
■ Particulate Matter (PM) emission system delivers the fuel and emissions
reductions up to 63%* savings critical to mining operations.
It also runs significantly smoother and
■ Customers in the field report fuel
quieter, reducing driver fatigue and
savings range from 3-5%
increasing safety.

MASTER REBUILD
CENTER
Once you have decided on which fuel system
upgrade is the best fit for your equipment,
the rebuild will be completed at a Cummins
High-Horsepower Master Rebuild Center,
where available. Working in this world-class
controlled environment, a highly trained rebuild
team will take apart the engine to the last
component and integrate Genuine Cummins
Parts. They will also clean and inspect the
engine to ensure product quality. The result
is an engine that’s been restored to original
performance and at a better value than a new
replacement engine.
