Risk Assessment: Transportation

DESCRIPTION
The devastating attacks of September 11, 2001 graphically demonstrated the risks facing
the United States’ commercial transportation system from international terrorism.
Recognizing the terrorist threat, homeland security officials and experts have designed risk
assessment methodologies specific to this critical infrastructure sector.
