school based assignment. I would also like to thank my teacher Mr.
Campbell for guiding me so that I could complete this SBA.
Introduction
In this SBA are real averages of student’s performance in mathematics.
To determine if the science group at school Perform better in
mathematics than the General and business Group, were the researcher
had to grant permission to get the 4th Form students' performance overall
in mathematics. The researcher Want to find out if the statement is true
and what can be put in place to improve students’ performance in
mathematics.
Topic for SBA
To determine if the 4th form science group at our school perform better
in math than the other groups.
Method of Investigation
To conduct this research, the researcher use raffle to randomly select a
total of 60 Students. The researcher arrange their names in alphabetical
Order with their classes and averages. To determine if the science group
Perform better than the general and business group. Twenty students
each were selected from the general, business as well as the science
Group.

Analysis of data

A total of sixty students were selected overall and twenty each were selected from
the General, Business and science group. In the General group fifteen students
failed with a 75% percentage and only five student pass with a 25% percentage. In
Business group they also have the amount of students that pass and fail has in the
general group with 15 student failing with a 75% percentage and Five (5) passing
with a 25% percentage. In the science group a total of 14 passed with a 70%
percentage and 6 students failed with a 30% percentage.

Discussion of Finding

The researcher aim for this investigation was to determine if the science group
perform better than the general and business group. The research has been confirm
and it is true that the science group perform better than the business and general
group because only six students out of twenty fail the subject and fifteen out of
twenty failed in the business and general group.

Conclusion

Is to determine if the 4th form science group at our school perform better in
mathematics than the other groups.
