    How to Install and Register Capicom on machine

    What is Capicom component?


    Capicom Component i s an installable which is required to interact with Digital
    certificate which user wants to use for Signing In, in various application as an Identity.
    The Capicom component is required to be installed on user ‟s machine so that he can

    select required certificates for uploading or downloading (Encrypting or Decrypting).

    (A)How to Install Capicom Component on Your Machine?


    Below are steps for installing Capicom Component
    Step 1 ) Go to Login Page, there is option of “Down load installable” click on Zip button.

    Click to Download
    Step 2) File download will be open, click on save and select the location on your disk.

    Step 3) Select the location of installable zip download on selected location.


    Step 4) Extract the Zip file, you will find below icon for installation

    Double click
    on this button

    Step 5) Double Click on capicom_dc_sdk set up, new window will be open.
    Click on Next Button

    Step 6) Click on „I accept the terms in the License Agreement‟


    Click next

    Step 7) Click on Next button

    Step 8 ) Click on „Install‟ button

    Step 9 ) Click on „Finish‟ button

    (B) How to Register Capicom Component on Your Machine?

    ---> Follow the path highlighted in red box

    Go to My Computer >> Local Disk (C) >> Program Files or Program Files (86)>>
    Microsoft CAPICOM 2.1.0.2 SDK >> Lib >> X86

    To Register Capicom.dll file

    1) Go to Start Menu -- > Type cmd in blank place as shown below

    Write cmd
    2) Right Click on cmd.

    Right Click on cmd

    3) Click on Run as administrator

    Below Screen will appear


    4) Give command "regsvr32" after "c:\Windows\system32>"

    5) Drag and drop capicom.dll file or Copy Paste path of DLL file as shown below
    6) Press enter

    7) Click on OK.
    Click on OK

    Note: If above message shown on your system then ,it is confirm that
    Capicom.dll file register successfully. Otherwise logoff with current user
    and login as Administrator and repeat above Registration process.
    (C)Setting required to be done in Internet Explorer.
    Internet Explorer: Greater Than version 7

    Open Internet Explorer Click on Tools >> Internet Options >> Security
    >> Custom Level

    Below Screen will appear
