Supervision.
Plans, supervise, execute and coordinates the Inspection activities on the onshore / offshore process facilities

Pipe line Subsea installation inspection:WELDING (API -1104 /ISO 13847 /SHELL DEP
31.40.00.10) / GMAW-STT
Responsible for preparation of WPS, PQR, WQT, stage inspections like fit up, welding, erection, review
of non-destructive inspection reports of fabrication structures as per approved drawings. Control of
QA/QC personnel, NDT crews to perform the inspection as per the agreed plan. Witnessing of grit
blasting and coating on structures, Dossier preparation and handing over to the client.
Check all documentation to execute the work such as approved welding procedures, Quality Control
procedures, NDT procedures, Codes; standards are available at work site.Check that all applicable equipment
is calibrated and has valid certification.
Welding procedure qualification as per DNV -OS-F101 & ONGC Specification Welder qualification as

from TP-1 platform at ALmorjan to Halul Offshore field.
Project-35KM for cross country onshore and 80 KM for offshore) for sour services (trunk line).
Material – API 5L Gr B,X42,X46,X52 & X60-DIA 38”, 30mm thick-24M Length double joint - long seam
and girth welded pipe with FBE coated both internally and externally.

B31.8 & B31.4. (Welding process SMAW,GMAW-STT & SAW and combination of welding process with the
pipe material API 5L Gr X60, electrode and filler wire Atom Arc E-7018,ER70S-6(STT) &E71T-1M ,No
PWHT with Impact test at -20°C, With Hardness for Sour Services).
Procedure qualification requirement of – Sour services.
ER 70S-6 used for sour services the chemistry of wire limited with NACE-SP0472.
Review the contractor piping procedures qualification as per the ASME Section IX.
Review and qualifying WQT as per the API 1104, ANSI B31.8 & B31.4.
Review and approval of NDT procedure and qualifying NDT personal as per the company specification.
Incoming pipe material inspection including verifying heat number, pipe number etc.
Verifying welding equipment calibration for each station.

PRESSURE VESSEL:

condition of vessel and internal apartness.
Detailed internal visual inspection after cleaning of the shell surface, bottom and top dish, all the internal
welding joint, internal bore of all nozzle ( after removal of product deposit or chocking), vortex breaker,
impingement plate, baffle plate , demister pad & mesh, Agitators/mixers and vessel apartness.
Offering appropriate NDT method for internal welding joint were susceptible to crack and all internal nozzle
welding joint either MPT or PT test & UTG.
Evaluating noticed pitting, corrosion, crack and damages part and making recommendation for repair.
Reporting all visible of deterioration or questionable condition.
Calculating metal loss, corrosion rate, remaining life and next inspection interval were having thinning.
HEAT EXCHANGER:
Initial visual inspection in open condition after removal of channel head and tube bundle (patrician plate,
internal nozzle welding and internal surface, gasket sheeting face for nozzles, both channel and shell side for
gasket seating face for any pitting, corrosion and damages, tube sheet to tube seal welding joint , tubes, tie
road &spacer , baffle plate ,bearing plate etc. )
After the cleaning detailed visual inspection in both channel internal surface, nozzle surface and welding joint
and patrician plate and in shell side internal visual inspection for the shell surface, nozzles, all internal
welding joint and the U tube bundle after the cleaning of water jetting visual inspection of U tubes, baffle
plate, tie rod & spacer, bearing plate, tube seat to tube seal welding joint for any erosion / corrosion, fatigue
and damages.
Exchanger’s inspection by leak test, snoop test, ultra probe sensitivity test and internal tube failures by
boroscopic test including photography and videotape.
Column
Initial visual inspection in open condition through each man way or access through confined face entry to
