Module No. 2: The Star Power Within

The best features content of the module is when the students determine the knowledge and

skills needed in the different professions and life choices. Students also assess their knowledge and

skills needed in their preferred profession. They also write a reflection letter on how they are going to

achieve their goals. What are the necessary steps they should do in order for them to achieve their

goal.

Module No. 3: Reaffirming the Chosen Track

The career guidance 3rd module was conducted for 3 sessions due to unexpected
events. It aims to evaluate the different sources of information relevant to their preferred
curriculum exit. Activities for this module include a video and activities that made the
students realized about things related to their chosen path of career.

The best feature of this module includes the animated video entitled ‘Finding a Job’
because students were able to relate it into their experience and possible decisions in the
future. In addition, introducing the different sources of career information through an activity.
Students were able to learn more about these sources. As for the feature that needs
improvement, the whole class evaluated the module. Some suggested that the module needs
more videos and be more entertaining. Also, the module needs a lot of activities that can
further more guide the students in choosing their career.

All in all, the learners enjoyed the module. Kudos to the people who made the
module. As the time goes by, we must bear in mind that the generation of our learners are
changing. Therefore, we must also change for the better. There’s always a room for
improvement.

Module No. 4: Fit Me Right

The career guidance 4th module was conducted for 3 sessions. This module needs the
cooperation of parents. It aims to evaluate the abilities, skills, role of parents, guardians and
significant others in deciding for profession and vocation. It needs materials such as activity
sheets and a reflection notebook in order for the students to express themselves more.

The best feature of this module are the activities that involve parents because
somehow these let the teacher know more about each of her student, their home atmosphere
and the views of their parents about their chosen career. As for the feature that needs
improvement, additional activities wherein, the students and their parents can have a more
‘heart to heart’ talk regarding their chosen path of career.

All in all, the learners enjoyed the module.

Module No. 5: Arise From the Reality of My Dreams

The career guidance 5th module was conducted for 3 sessions. This module aims to
help the students determine the qualifications, abilities and skills necessary in the preferred
profession, vocation and future.

The best feature of this module include the activity entitled ‘Skill mo ba to?’ because
the students enjoyed it as well as learn the different Soft and Hard skill. In addition, Pitch the
Speech let the students have their practice on speaking in front of people. As for the feature
that needs improvement, the activities should be time-bound and can be achieve by the
students with a sense of fulfillment.

All in all, the learners enjoyed the module. Kudos to the people who made the
module. As the time goes by, we must bear in mind that the generation of our learners are
changing. Therefore, we must also change for the better. There’s always a room for
improvement.

Module No. 6: Up Up in the Ladder of my Career

The career guidance 6th module was conducted for 3 sessions due to unexpected
events. It aims to name the pros and cons of the decision made for life and career and
formulate ways on how to address the possible challenges and areas for enrichment.

The best feature of this module includes the worksheets where the students can
express their concerns in relation to what they are presently experiencing in their chosen
career. As for the feature that needs improvement, the whole class evaluated the module.
Some suggested that the module needs more videos and be more entertaining. Also, the
module needs a lot of activities that can further guide the students in choosing their career.

Module No. 7: Beginning the Journey Where I Am

The career guidance 7th module aims to make the students value the relevance of their
current situation in planning for life and profession and discuss their current situations in
relation to life and profession.

The best feature of this module includes the song entitled “The Journey” by Lea
Salonga wherein it was not only used as a motivation for the module but also a reminder for
the students to look back and appreciate their path/journey towards success. As for the feature
that needs improvement, the whole class evaluated the module. Some suggested that the
Activity --“Name – Profession” must be upgraded to cater the students diversity.

As the time goes by, we must bear in mind that the generation of our learners are
changing. Therefore, we must also change for the better. There’s always a room for
improvement.

Module No. 8: I Plan to Succeed!

The career guidance 8th module aims to determine the steps in achieving goals, develop plans
for the chosen profession, vocation and future and show commitment in achieving life goals.

The best feature of this module includes the game ‘Word bubbles’ and making an
Insignia. As for the feature that needs improvement, the whole class evaluated the module.
Some suggested that the activity Dexter’s Lab needs to be upgraded. Also, the module needs
some videos to further guide the students in choosing their career.

All in all, the learners enjoyed the module. Kudos to the people who made the
module. As the time goes by, we must bear in mind that the generation of our learners are
changing. Therefore, we must also change for the better. There’s always a room for
improvement.
