1. PROJECT DESCRIPTION
Arkema Thiochemicals Sdn. Bhd (ATSB) intent to undertake an expansion of their Industrial Plant at
Kerteh, state of Terengganu, Malaysia.with the objective to double MeSH capacity from 160t/d to 320t/d
by introducing a third H2S production train and a second MeSH production train including modification
of other related facilities.
Currently the Kerteh plant produces 77kt/year of L-Methionine and 70 kt/y of Thiochemicals.
2. PURPOSE
This document is to define the tie-in details including related documents for the work scope.
3.1 Definitions
Words appearing in capital letters shall have the meaning assigned to them in the Contract. For
clarification purposes, the definitions used in the present PROJECT Procedure are recalled here:
EPCM SERVICES The whole of the SERVICES under this CONTRACT, excluding the
FEED Services.

Proposed Tie-in List and Snap Shot received from the PDP are further developed. Based on engineering
development, each tie-in model is reviewed by COMPANY before it is presented to the COMPANY
Operation and Maintenance team at site office. Site verification is then performed with COMPANY and
discussion are described in the minute of meeting.
