Exercise 1

Paraphrase the following sentences. They can be paraphrase at word, phrase, sentence or
even sentence structures levels

1. New insecticides are produced each year by chemical companies around the world.
- Every year, new insecticides are manufactured by chemical companies globally.

2. Every day throughout the world, millions of children are being mistreated and used as
child-slaves to produce cheap labor.
- Globally, millions of children are abused every single day and used as child-slaves for
