ii . Define any two processes which you have identified in Fig. 1.


- Dyeing: Thus is the process whereby the cotton is dyed with colour according to the needs of the
buyers.
- Warping: Also known as weaving is the process whereby the cotton is weaved. Horizontal and
vertical straps are patterents and woven. The vertical side is called the warp and horizontal side is called
the weft.

Iii, .State three ways in which this company is attracting its customers.

- The print is eye catching which makes customers attracted to the company .
- The texture of the fabric brings comfort quality which makes it attractive .
- The variety is plenty. This way customers can have loads to choose from . [3]

(b)i. Define primary, secondary and tertiary industries.


Primary Industry: This industry is concerned with obtaining or providing natural raw materials for
conversion into products for customers.
Secondary Industry: This industry converts the raw materials provided by Primary industries to further
provide it to consumers or manufacturers.
Tertiary Industry: This part of economy provides services for the consumers. [3]
