When the first COVID-19 case was recorded in March

this year, the country was placed under a state of
national emergency. COVID-19 ushered in a new
normal in the way people conduct business and deal
with each other.

To prevent the further spread of infection among the

populace, various measures were put in place such as a
ban on mass gatherings, restrictions on movement,
social distancing, preventive practices like hand
washing and wearing of masks, among others.
In the face of this continuing health threat, the Department
of Education (DepEd) formulated the Basic Education
Learning Continuity Plan (LCP) to put into motion the
marching orders of the Secretary: ensure that learning
continues while guaranteeing the health, safety, and well-
being of all learners, teachers, and other DepEd employees.

The LCP recognizes that DepEd must adopt alternative modes

of delivering learning if it is to reach all learners regardless of
who and where they are. Where school-based, Face-to-Face
Learning is not possible, the LCP identifies three learning
delivery modalities (LDMs) that schools may implement:
Distance Learning, Blended Learning and Homeschooling.

LCP capacity building will have two streams. This first stream
(LDM 1) is focused on the implementation and management
of the alternative learning delivery system at all levels of the
education system, and intended for school and division
leaders. This course you are taking now, which is LDM2, is
intended for Instructional Coaches and focused on the
instructional implications of using these alternative LDMs. As
a designated Instructional Coach, you are tasked to guide and
assist teachers as they go through this Course.

PRAYER:
To start with, let’s all stay in silence and together we will
invoke God’s divine presence in our virtual doings.

NATIONAL ANTHEM AND REGIONAL HYMN:

After which, let’s altogether express our sense of patriotism
through singing our National Anthem to be followed by our
Regional Hymn.

MESSAGES: (Dr. Valde)

Before stepping into the gist of our virtual doings this morning, we
shall listen first to the messages from the personalities in our top
management. These messages will not only inspire us but this would
definitely add to the substantial information that I am sure, all of us
are excited to hear.

Let us start to listen to the message from our OIC assistant school’s
division superintendent, Dr. Visminda Q, Valde.

AFTER: Thank you Dr. Valde for that very informative message.

Dr. Salvador:

Now, let’s move on listening to another message from a person that I

know most of us are thrilled to hear and even eager to see him in
person.
Ladies and gentlemen, let’s all heed to the message of our newly
assigned OIC Asst. Schools Division Superintendent, DR. Raymond
Salvador, CESE.

AFTER: Thank you for your substantial message sir. With gladness in
our hearts we say Welcome to Zamboanga del Sur. Together, we
look forward for a productive work relationship and experiences with
you.

Dr. Majarani M. Jacinto:

At this point in time, let us all welcome to the enlightening message

from no less than our Schools Division Superintendent, Dr. Majarani
Macaraeg Jacinto, CESO VI.

AFTER: Thank you maam for your heart warming message. Thank
you even for reserving your time to be with us this morning.
PRESENTATION OF PARTICIPANTS:

As we move on to the subsequent parts in our activity, allow

me to recognize and introduce our participants from the
different Quality Learning Centers.

As I call the Qualci Numbers, everyone from the qualci

number will open their camera and unmute your
microphones and say hi, plus waving of the right hand in 30
seconds.

Lets start from Qualci 1, Qualci 2, Qualci 3, Qualci 4, Qualci 5

and finally Qualci 6.

Congratulations everyone ……..

WEBINAR ETIQUETTE:

1.Show up on time.
You may not disrupt the presentation by logging late,
but you may miss important information.

2. Turn off your webcam during the presentation.

Nothing is more likely to illicit giggles than to have the
presenter turn off their PowerPoint presentation and the
software defaults to someone watching (or worse – not
watching), unaware that his or her webcam running. Even if
you are in listening mode, check that your webcam is off or
cover the lens with a post-it note.
3. Wait your turn.
In a live setting, You can see who has a question or when a
presenter is ready for an interruption. In webinar, especially
when not everyone is on webcam, you may need to rely on
cues such as hand-raising icons or questions posted in chats.

4. Ask questions concisely.

Webinars are focused; be sure your questions are, too.

Avoid wasting time in lengthy introductions, and don't self-
promote or spend a lot of time sharing your opinion before
asking a question. If you have comments, ask yourself if they
will help others before commenting.

5. Don't use the chat room as your personal water cooler

Just like you would not stand in the back of the room
gossiping with someone while a presenter was lecturing,
refrain from using the chat room just to socialize."
