The system is standardized for various metals and alloys like steels, Aluminium, Copper, Molybedenum,

The latest machine is programmable one with touch key pad controls and LCD screen. The same is further
interfaced with computer for recording prevailing parameters in delicated software with image recording /
analysis facility.
Presently, we are working on sub-zero polishing, edge protection, polishing on conductive moulds and
standardizing other alloys and plantings.
Process Advantages
The electropolishing has many distinct advantages. It revels exact amount of phase, intermediate
structures and any precipitation since there is no deformation / smearing of soft phase over the harder one.
It is fast ( 20 to 30 seconds ) No operator skill is required. It is particularly well suitable for softer metals.
No scratching occurs and produces no artificial like surface mechanical deformation or
mechanical twins while polishing. It produces completely unworked surface beneficial for micro hardness
checking , X-ray studies and electron microscopy etc.

Polishing Cell:

Polishing Cell incorporates corrosion resistant Polypropylene pump assembly, electrolyte reservoir of

clamping arrangement with spring action and various size masks. The electrolyte reservoir is housed in
electrical chiller to maintain the temperature below ambient temp. upto -10 degree C.
