Fake news has been a difficult topic in the Philippines and global society recently. It’s a
great issue in politics, media (both digital and conventional), public safety, and it impacts our
perspective of the world and our discussions with other people. At the point when we support for

day by day conversations with companions and associates, worries that phony news influences
the general public are basic. Fake news is the new name for the ancient problem. Disinformation,
misinformation, frauds, conspiracy theories, and lies have long proven to affect popular opinion.
Fake news is enjoying another time in the public miseducation today because its growth on
online social networks may have influenced the public election. Therefore, students, opinion
leaders, and yet online platforms themselves get begun to analyze fake news, its impacts, and its
destructive effect on the structure politic. The internet has become a tool for spreading false
information, which is not only used by politicians but also by people who don't like politics.
Along with the ways it is distributed, fake information also has several cases, too. Fake
information may be local or domestic and/or related or irrelevant. This fake information that got
to do with the 2016 Presidential Election is public, for instance. If some part of fake information
doesn't actually change the result of anything, it is most probably irrelevant anyway. Sometimes
fake information is valuable but not forever. Fake news may have influenced voters to influence
one choice during the election, which is obviously really significant.
Patriotism is the commitment of passion for one’s people. The nation's personality is seen
through its culture, traditions, religions, beliefs, and even the identity or closeness of the people
at it. The history of the Filipino reflects the sort of patriotism that Filipinos have. Their heroes
stood and struggled to protect the Filipino identity and gain liberty and freedom.
Filipino patriotism started with the increase of nationalistic sentiments and nationalist
ideals in the 1800s Philippines that came as a result of more than three centuries of Spanish law.

wealth that could be made from manipulating eyeballs.
Indeed, fake news can affect your national identity. Even one small issue that is fake can
have a big and lasting impact on your nation. Fake news is a serious phenomenon, and it has
always played a significant part in the growth of our country. Politicians have frequently relied
upon the charge of fake information to justify their behavior, and fake news has long been used
to influence costs, defend the strong, and impact the masses. At present, there is so much stuff on
the internet that we don't know whether they are real or not. It makes the reader go on the side of
the fake news and thwart the real ones that are not shown. For example, a lot of people think that
Ninoy Aquino is a hero but in reality, he isn't.
Understand what nationalism is. Nationalism is one of the most general opinions
misrepresented in propaganda. Nationalistic beliefs and rhetoric are usually subverted by those
who attempt to influence certain opinions or behaviors. The word `` patriot '' and `` loyalty this
frequently used as the bludgeon to challenge somebody's loyalty and passion for their people in a
sense that's more akin to nationalism. We must first know the truth before believing anything
that is on the internet. The internet has become an important tool for spreading information
about our country. We need to be aware of the dangers of false information on the internet
especially if it's political.
As a Filipino, patriotism to me should remain practiced 100 percent. Patriotism is not
something you simply have. It is a powerful idea and belief put into action, large or small. We
will express our loyalty first by being the greatest we can take. It goes from inside, and so we
will do all things possible to assist in maintaining peace, order, and sustainability of living in the
people. Loyalty is just following the forces of God and discovering the forces that bind people.
