Step 1, Card reader installation and setting 
1. Connect card reader communication cable to CTB board. 

 
 
2. Check D7 and D10 LED light state, both lights must be twinkle, please check the communication cable 
connection between card reader and CTB board if D10 light always on.

3. Set lift No. by card reader DIP switch. 
Select all the lift No. to the same such as No.1 if use one card to control all lifts, otherwise set lift No. as 
below. 

Step 2, Making card 
1. Install IC card management software in PC and open software. Plug in USB security dog, otherwise 
software cannot be opened. 

 
2. Add new lift in system setting. Click system setting—Lift management—Add new lift

Then please fill the correct information according lift information. 

 
After setting related options, click OK to finish the elevator adding process. 

 
3. Making system management setting card.

4. Making system On/Off card. 

 
 
5. Making separate floor management card.   
Please select the corresponding lift No. and floor which are not controlled by IC card. Such as front door G 
floor in No.1 lift which isn't controlled by IC card as below.   
Set the front door and back door floors information respectively if it's through opening door. 

 
 
6. Making user card (Making charging card or time card). 
Please fill the correct information according, such as the card only can go to B2, B1 and 4 as below. 
It can select floor automatic if only select such as B1 and 4, the lift will register 4 automatic if the lift in B1 
floor, and register B1 if in 4 floor, no need press button after swiping card.

Step 3, Swiping card to testing 
1. Swiping system management card firstly to set card reader information. Don't forget check the DIP 
switch setting before swiping card.
