a. Project/Work Accomplished:
Culminating activities are designed to hone and unleash every student’s capabilities.
It is where one can learn the essence of leadership, teamwork, sportsmanship and unity.
Four culminating activities are held annually where students are honed in various and
related activities to compete and to develop comradeship in diversity.
It consist of Proyektong Panturismo, Pagtatangahal ng Ibong Adarna, Pagbabalita
gamit ang maka-bagong teknolohiya and Pagtatanghal ng mga Awiting Bayan na may sukat,
tugma, tayutay, talinhaga at iba pa grade 7, Presentasyong Pang-Eksibit, Malayang
Pagbigkas ng Tula sa Paraang Pormal at Impormal, Iba’t Ibang paraan ng
paglalahad,Nakakabuo ng sariling tula at naitatanghal ito, Nakakabuo ng isang SOCIAL
AWARENESS CAMPAIGN at Nakakapagpamalas ng isang Pagtatanghal ng isang Obra
Maestrang “Florante at Laura”for Grade 8, Book Fair ng mga Akdang Pampanitikan ng
Timog-Silangang Asya, Naisasalaysay sa isang Kumprensiya ang naisulat na sariling
akda.Nakakapagtanghal ng dulang Panteatro na pumapaksa sa napapanahong Isyung
Panlipunan sa kasalukuyan for Grade 9 and Nakakapagsagawa ng simposyum gamit a ng
wikang Filipino sa Talakayan, Nakakapaglathala ng sariling akda sa Hatirang Pangmadla
(Social Media), Kritikal na Pagsusuri sa mga isinasagawang critique tungkol sa alinmang
akdang Pampanitikang Mediterranean and Pangkatang Pagsasadula ng Nobelang El
Filibusterismo.
This will allow the desired behaviour of the students to be described, and will
eliminate ambiguity concerning demonstration of expected competencies.
Learning does not focus on the four corner of the classroom and learning is about
actualization that’s why TNCHS Filipino Department Strategize new and modern activities
that left significant influenced to the institution. Here are the following impacts of the
department based from the competencies of the subject matter (Filipino):
Following event day, students will analyze every aspect of the concert in relation to
their SMART goals from the lesson. Effective feedback collection can provide valuable
insight into how to improve experience and provide data for making better informed
decisions.
Once students have analyzed the success of the culminating activity, students will have the
opportunity to present their summaries to their teachers. This opportunity will provide
students with valuable presentation and communication experience. The purpose of this
program is to provide students with the confidence and skills necessary to enter the real
world and find their passion.
Expected Outcomes:
1. Students will work effectively as a member of a team.
2. Students can apply the principles of Filipino language
3. Students will have an appreciation for the need to be lifelong learners
4. Students will have effective communication skills.

The students who participated in quarter culminating activity got passing score in
their periodical test and the levels of the major performance indicator decreased and help
them in showing their special skills and abilities in other areas related to subject matter.

Student’s Performance:
Filipino Department’s culminating activity promotes wide range of new trends and
programs that get along with the competencies of the subject matter. Provided that the
culminating activity recognized the student’s ability to showcase their own intellect and
innovative ideas in every culminating activity this will allow the desired behavior of the

students to be described, and will eliminate ambiguity concerning demonstration of expected
competencies.
The new trends of innovation in eduaction rely on the existing technology inside
the classroom .But because of low budget for technologies inside the
classroom.Innovative mind of the teachers and facilitators recognized the value of what
is indispensable in learning. Replicability of various games in television as motivation,
classroom activities and part of the lesson provides a great assets in learning. Teachers do
not dwell on what is just exist but Filipino teachers think on different strategies and
techniques that is interesting and can get the attention of the students.
Even dramas/telenovelas are tools in this innovative teaching and learning
process in teaching Filipino no just to innovate but to connect on the real-life scenario
and attention of the students.
Filipino Literature expand its horizon to broaden the access to new, modern and
accpetable learning not just based on the competencies of the subject but with real-life
scenario/experience of the students. Documentation and other media related things are
also part of innovation in teaching Filipino.
