INFORMATION
The undersigned Prosecutor, hereby accuses ROGER REGINO y SANTOS,
MICHAEL TOLENTINO y RAMOS, and MARY PAYADON y DULNUAN of having
committed the offense of Violation of paragraph (a) subparagraph (1) of Presidential Decree
No.1602, committed as follows:
That on or about June 20, 2017, at about 5:00PM in Barangay Quirino, Municipality of
Solano, Province of Nueva Vizcaya, Philippines, and within the jurisdiction of this Honorable
Court, the above-named accused, without authority of the law, conspiring, confederating and
mutually helping each other, did then and there willfully, unlawfully, and feloniously, engage and
participate as players in an illegal game commonly known as “mahjong” where wagers
consisting of money was at stake, and confiscated from them are pieces of dice for mahjong and
bet money amounting to Nine Hundred and Seventy Two Pesos (P972.00) ,to the damage and
prejudice of the Republic of the Philippines.

JAKE FLORES y CABADING of having committed the offense of Violation of paragraph (a)
subparagraph (1) of Presidential Decree No.1602, committed as follows:
That on or about August 17, 2017, at about 2:30PM in Purok 4, Barangay Aggub,
Municipality of Solano, Province of Nueva Vizcaya, Philippines, and within the jurisdiction of
this Honorable Court, the above-named accused, without authority of the law, conspiring,
confederating and mutually helping each other, did then and there willfully, unlawfully, and
feloniously, engage and participate as players in an illegal game commonly known as
“mahjong” and confiscated from them are two (2) sets of playing cards colored red and blue and
bet money amounting to Two Thousand Thirty Four Pesos (Php.2,034.00),to the damage and
prejudice of the Republic of the Philippines.

offense of Violation of Presidential Decree Number 1602 as amended by Republic
Act No. 9287 otherwise known as “AN ACT INCREASING THE PENALTIES FOR
ILLEGAL NUMBERS GAMES, AMENDING CERTAIN PROVISIONS OF
PRESIDENTIAL DECREE NO. 1602, AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES”, committed
as follows:
That on or about April 22, 2014, at about 10:30 in the morning in Barangay
Don Mariano Perez, Municipality of Bayombong, Province of Nueva Vizcaya,
Philippines, and within the jurisdiction of this Honorable Court, the above-named
accused, without authority whatsoever, conspiring, confederating and mutually
helping each other, did then and there willfully, unlawfully, and feloniously, directly
take part in the illegal or unauthorized game or activity be it jueteng or jueteng-like
by having participated as therein personnel or staff who acts in the interest of the
cabos, cobradores maintainer/manager/operator specifically that of being checkers
locally known as “Rebisadors” and who were caught in flagrante delicto placing and
processing the bets and drawing the winning combinations and confiscated from
them are jueteng paraphernalia to wit: Seven (7) bundles Papelitos, One (1)
Calculator, Six (6) Stapler, One (1) scissor, List of Jueteng results, One Thousand
Seven Hundred Fifty Eight Pesos (Php.1758.00) paper bills and coins in different
denominations, Two (2) Bundles Jueteng stub, Four (4) Bundles Improvised jueteng
stub, and Two (2) Ballpen, to the damage and prejudice of the Republic of the
Philippines.
