I. Objectives
A. Content Standards The learner demonstrates understanding of
how world literature and other text types
serve as ways of expressing and resolving
personal conflicts, also how to use strategies
in linking textual information, repairing,
enhancing communication public speaking,
emphasis markers in persuasive text, different
forms of modals, reflexive and intensive
pronoun.
B. Performance Standards The learners composes a short but powerful
persuasive text using a variety of persuasive
techniques and devices.
C. Learning Competency

D. Specific Objectives At the end of the lesson, students are


expected to:
a. Realize the feminine side of nature and
appreciate its importance.

b. Match difficult terms under Column A


to its appropriate synonym under
Column B. The difficult words will be
used in the sentences.

c. Explain how the elements specific to a


selection build its theme.
