CTA Remote Excel File Loader

Version 4.51

The CTA Remote Excel File Loader is used to:


- prepare and edit tests with Microsoft Excel on yo
- communicate with the CT Analyzer
- import CT Analyzer report files (*.xml) into Micro
- upload/download tests to and from the CT Analy
- prepare customer-specific test reports
- develop test automation under VBA.

This template is an application-specific tool extension of the CTA Remote Excel File Loader in-
tended to get a comprehensive, printable test report for all classes according IEC 60044-1, IEC
60044-6, IEC 61869-2 and IEEE C57.13 (ANSI) standards.These results are distributed over eight
worksheets.

The first section of each of those worksheets holds fields to insert your company's name and
address as well as an order number. Those fields are not write-protected and to your disposal.
All fields of the "... Test" sections, which hold test results, the "General Test Information" section
and the "Used Test Settings" section are write-protected and therefore not available for customer-
entries.The same applies to the sections "Excitation Curve Data", "Current Ratio Error in % at...",
"Phase Displacement in [min] at..." and the two charts "Excitation Curve Data" and "Ratio Error
Graph".

The cells below that are available for customer-specific calculations or data entries.

The section "Excitation Curve Data" holds a subset of the "CT Excitation Measured Data" table
from the "Report" worksheet with a maximum number up to 30 (U,I)-pairs.

The applied standard, CT's core type and accuracy class definition of the input fields on the "Re-
port" worksheet determine the curve progressions displayed in charts, the excitation tables, the
kneepoint voltages and currents, etc.

To perform measurements, select the worksheet "Data" and open the settings form by clicking
either the "Settings" button or the colored "TEST SETTINGS" area. Enter the necessary para-
meters and text in the fields of the "TEST SETTINGS" block and start the test.

To insert a company logo, or change it, respectively, click the Page Setup command from the
File pull-down menu. Go to the Header/Footer tab and click the Custom Header... button.
Position your cursor into the "Right section:" and click the Insert Picture button. Browse the
folder structure to the picture of your choice, select it and click Insert. The company logo can
then be viewed by clicking the Print Preview command from the File pull-down menu.

If you need to change the contents of protected cells, click the Protection | Unprotect Sheet
command from the Tools pull-down menu. A password is not required to remove the worksheet
protection.

Please note that you remove the worksheet protection at your own risk. OMICRON electronics
does not assume responsibility for a correct operation if you edit initially protected parameters.
The same applies if you carry out modifications at the cell-specific VBA code.
