RESINLUX 210

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
RESINLUX 210 is a one-component solvent-free polyurethane adhesive used for the production of sandwich elements and
other industrial applications. The adhesive is designed to bond manually – with machineries and also for air-spray applications.
The adhesive gives outstanding adhesion to many substrates..

TYPICAL USE
RESINLUX 210 could be used for combination like :
Polystyrene-, Polyurethane- and P.V.C.- foam, glass reinforced plastics, foam glass, steel- and aluminium sheets, melamine
plates and many others.
The finished bonded materials are typically used in the building industry, caravan and cold store-production, train, ship-Truck,
doors and so on.
About pedestals for raised floors - we suggest to use a right quantity of resin in order 5/6 grams for single piece.
Many times the worker puts the resin through the holes present on the bottom of the pedestal – and it is normally enough to
have a good bonding.
During the works it is important to keep attention at the temperature of the materials to bonded. Very low temperatures under 0
°C gives delay time respect the standard situation. It is to be consider if the terms of walking of the floors. In few words having a
minimum share of humidity RESINLUX 210 should be able to explicate his functionality giving a good bonding between the
materials to be bonded. The difference that we can find will be in the different curing time of it that are depending from the
Humidity and the temperatures. Essetre is able to give warranty that temperature when it is up 3 °C do not given any
problems in terms of bonding.

GENERAL INFORMATION
The open -time is dependent on the surrounding temperature and relative humidity.
For one side application, the open time is the period during which a joint must be put under pressure in order to obtain the
necessary degree of counter-wetting by the adhesive for a 100% bond to be achieved. The values gave are averages for
2
coating-weight of 100 gr/m at 20 °C and 50% R.H. If the R.H. is below 50% the adhesive layer can be overspread with a fine
2
water mist. The amount of water required is in a range of 2-4 gr /m

PREPARATION OF MATERIALS
The surface to be bonded should be dry, clean and free of dust, oil, fat and residual release agents should be removed with
cleaning solvents like esters or ketones.
For the untreated metal surfaces we recommend the use of treatment, for example : Epoxy, Alkyd or dichromate primers , in
order to achieve higher sheer properties and hydrolysis resistance.
STORAGE
The adhesive should be stored in cool and dry place.
In order to avoid water contamination the drums should be kept close.
In sealed containers the storage stability of the RESINLUX 210 is 6 months.
