for you to have through the Lord Jesus

dark about his lordship, or the Lord Jesus
Christ who wants you to be enlightened
about the truth of his Lordship.

John 8:32 And ye shall know the truth, and

free from Satan’s captivity, but you will be
free to enjoy the abundant life, through
Jesus Christ, as promised in God’s Word.
Most importantly, these truths will
determine the salvation of your soul.
You may have to fight to read this
book, but it will be well worth the effort.

Preface
Throughout time, the controversy over
the Lordship of Jesus Christ and Grace have
sparked heated debates, arguments, and
biblical philosophical studies among some of
the world’s greatest Biblical scholars. It has
and still causes a great divide in the body of
Christ.
The Doctrine of Grace vs Lordship
Before the Lord Jesus Christ began to
deal with me about his Lordship, frankly I had
never heard of lordship. I am sure this may
be the case with many believers. You might
ask, just what is lordship? What does
lordship have to do with salvation?
To be honest, I had been taught that by
reciting Romans 10:9,10
Rom 10:9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord
Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised
him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
Rom 10:10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness;
and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

meant I was saved, period! I was taught that


through God’s grace or his unmerited favor that
I was assured eternal salvation as long as I
attended church services and believed that God
raised Jesus from the dead.

That the salvation of my soul was a done deal.
Sadly, I believe this is what many are taught in
their pursuit of salvation. Even more sadly is
the fact that it is far from the truth.
Did you believe that reciting Romans 10:9-
10 meant you were saved? Did you believe that
since you were “saved by Grace” that you were
free to live your life anyway you want to? This
is contrary to scripture, for Rom 6:1 states
“What shall we say then? Shall we continue in
sin, that grace may abound? Rom 6:2 God
forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live
any longer therein? “
So what is the answer? If we are not
under Grace, are we supposed to be perfect?
Many are quick to say “Nobody’s perfect”. So
what is the answer?
My testimony
Please allow me to share my own
personal experience regarding the lordship of
Jesus Christ that gave me a different
perspective on salvation.
One day while praying fervently and
calling upon the Lord Jesus, he spoke
something that startled me. He said to me, “I
am not your Lord!”

In amazement, I quickly retorted
“What?? The devil is a lie!!”
I had been saved for 15 years, had
preached revivals all over the United States,
and endeavored to live a life that exemplified
Christianity, or at least that what I thought
was “Christianity”.
I thought for sure that I was “all that” in
the Lord and that my life was pleasing to God.
Why would the Lord Jesus say to me
that he was not my Lord? Convinced a
demon had invaded my prayer closet I
immediately left out of the prayer closet.
Upon returning to my prayer closet the next
day, the Lord Jesus Christ spoke the same
thing to me “I am not your Lord!” He told
me “You do what you want to do, when you
want to do it, and with whom you want to
do it with. That is not lordship”.
This concerned me deeply, I justifiably
replied, “Lord, I have never even heard of
lordship!”
The Lord Jesus then instructed me to do a
study on Lordship! In obedience, I began my
study by looking up the word “lordship” in the
Bible, and found the following 2 scriptures:
Mark 10:42 and Luke 22:25

Since neither passage referred to the
Lord Jesus Christ, puzzled, I went back to the
Lord, and again he instructed me to study
“lordship”, not just read scriptures about it.
That I was to research and study what lordship
means, and how it applied to my everyday life.
Like many others, I thought that being
“saved by grace” was enough. Once saved,
always saved. Believing that God’s grace
would cover all my sins and no matter what I
did after I had recited Romans 10:9-10, I
believed I was Heaven bound. So basically, I
did what I wanted to do, as long as it looked
or sounded religious, not realizing that
spiritually, Satan was still lording over me
through my flesh, and I was bound where he
is bound…to hell!! Thank God for his grace
that kept Satan from destroying me in my
ignorance. It was also by his grace that
empowered me to learn the truth about his
lordship and author this book.
Because so many believers are or have
been misled by the erroneous teachings on
salvation, is the reason I believe that the Lord
Jesus instructed me to write this book and then
teach his people about his lordship.
1Timothy 2:4 Who will have all men to be
saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth

Lordship is not just a theory, doctrine
or religion, for me, it is a way of life. I have
learned to live my life allowing Jesus Christ
to lord over it. Jesus’s lordship changed my
life, and I have seen it change the lives of
many others. Without a doubt, it will
change your life too.
Yes, God’s grace is sufficient but grace is
not a substitute for Lordship. Grace is
empowerment God gives one to allow him to
conform one into the image of his son, Jesus
Christ.

Romans 8:29 For whom he did foreknow, he


also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of
his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many
brethren.

1John 3:2 Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it


doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that,
when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall
see him as he is.

This transformation process must be


completed in one’s life so that one’s soul will be
saved from eternal damnation. It will not
happen without the lordship of Jesus Christ.

Chapter I
“That day”
Your arrival into Heaven

And I saw a great white throne and him


that sat on it,
from whose face the earth and the heaven
fled away; and there was found no place for
them. And I saw the dead, small and great,
stand before God; and
the books were opened: and another book
was opened, which is the book of life: and
the dead were judged out of those things
which were written in the books, according
to their works.

Revelations 20:11-12

As the song goes.....
"When we all get to Heaven what a day of
rejoicing that will beeeee…When we all see
Jesus, we will sing and shout the Victoorryyy"
NOT!! Huh?? Why not?
“Not everyone that saith unto me, Lord,
Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven;
but he that doeth the will of my Father which is
in heaven. Many will say to me in that day,
Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy
name? and in thy name have cast out devils?
and in thy name done many wonderful works?
And then will I profess unto them, I never knew
you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.”
Matthew 7:21-23
I am sure this is not what anyone will
expect nor want to hear on “that day”.
However, this is exactly what some will hear.
Those dreadful words, “depart from me, I never
knew you.” If one has to depart from Heaven
where else is there to go? Yes, that other place
no one wants to hear about - Hell!
What will you hear on that day? Where
will you spend eternity?

The good news is everybody is going to
Heaven! That's right! Everybody!! No matter
what they have done in their lifetime or what
kind of lifestyle they have lived, everybody
will go to Heaven.
Now the bad news…not everyone will
not stay in Heaven. Everybody will stand
before the great white throne of judgment.
And that throne does exist. Shortly after the
Lord saved me, while I was awoke, he gave me
an “out-of-body” experience. My spirit was
taken to Heaven and I was shown the great
white throne of judgment. Heaven is real,
Angels are real, and the great white throne of
judgment is very real.
So now, back to “that day”. When you
go to Heaven to be with the Lord, it will be
worth it all; at least, that’s what all believers
sing and talk about - "that glorious day".
With euphoric anticipation, many envision
their arrival into Heaven. With vividly
imagined scenarios of how they are going to
put on their long white robes and dance
around Heaven all day, telling all their friends
and loved ones "Howdy, howdy!", and as the
song goes “no one will able to put them out!”

Many will stand before our Lord Jesus
Christ and express their spiritual and religious
accolades of what they did and how well they
did “for the Lord”.
Matthew 7:22 Many will say to me in that day, Lord,
Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy
name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many
wonderful works?
Many will stand before our Lord Jesus
expecting to hearing "well done, thou good and
faithful servant;" only to hear, "And then will I
profess unto them, I never knew you: depart
from me, ye that work iniquity". Matthew 7:23
What kind of day will “that day” will be
for you? What will you hear on “that day”?
Will it be a glorious day or a dreadful day for
you?
Will your genealogy, education, social or
economic status account for anything? Sorry, it
will not. How about one's dynamic singing or
preaching ability? Maybe one's position or title
in the church? No, none of these accolades will
matter. Will one’s religious affiliation
(Holiness, Baptist, Catholic, etc) matter? No,
that will not make a difference either.
What will matter then? What will be the
determining factor? Who then will be saved?

According to the word of God…..
Romans 10:10 That if thou shalt confess
with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in
thine heart that God hath raised him from the
dead, thou shalt be saved.
Acknowledging that Jesus Christ is lord
and believing that God raised him from the dead
(if you do not believe that God raised Jesus
Christ from the dead, you do not believe that
Jesus is Lord) begins a process that culminates
in the salvation (saving) of your soul.
In sin, you were conformed into the image
of you old lord –Satan. In salvation you are
conformed into a new man, which is in the image
of your new lord – Jesus Christ. Therefore, upon
your arrival to Heaven you will be known of him
because you will be in him and known of him.
Because one cannot complete this transformation
process upon himself; Our Lord Jesus must do it,
according to scriptures –
Colossians 1:21 And you, that were sometime
alienated and enemies in your mind by wicked works,
yet now hath he reconciled
Colossians 1:22 In the body of his flesh through
death, to present you holy and unblameable and
unreproveable in his sight
In order to complete the transformation
process in one’s life, the Lord Jesus must have
the authority, control and power to conform
you into himself (his image).

But he must have your cooperation to do
so.
Just saying you believe Jesus Christ is
lord and not allowing him (to complete the
transformation process) means you are merely
saying one thing, but living something else.
Saying you believe that Jesus is Lord, but serving
someone else.
Many call Jesus “Lord”, but do not allow
him to be Lord, because they have not
established a servant/master relationship with
the Lord Jesus Christ. Relying on the false
hopes of religion, religious traditions or
religious affiliation will not gain one's entrance
into heaven, which should be every believer's
ultimate goal. Your salvation must be based
solely upon God's word, and not through
religion or religious traditions. Eternal life is
through Jesus Christ our Lord (Romans 6:23),
no one else.
Who is really your Lord? Jesus Christ the
true and risen Lord, or Satan the God of this
world? Are you just taking for granted that
Jesus Christ is your Lord?
You cannot guess, take for granted, nor
rely upon human reasoning, when it comes to
where you will spend eternity.
It would behoove you to have Jesus as
your Lord when you do get to Heaven, if you

intend on Heaven being your eternal home.

Chapter II
Both Lord and Christ

Therefore let all the


house of Israel know
assuredly, that God
hath made that same
Jesus, whom ye have
crucified, both Lord
and Christ.

Acts: 2:36

Jesus Christ is Lord, and our Lord Jesus is
the Christ. God made him both Lord and
Christ. Not one or the other, he is both. He must
also be both in your life.
Just acknowledging the fact that Jesus is
Lord does not make him your Lord. You may
have acknowledged that Jesus Christ is Lord
many times - in worship service, Bible study
night, or revival times. You may have
celebrated the Lord Jesus Christ through praise
and worship; however, just acknowledging that
Jesus is Lord, singing that he is Lord and,
praising his majesty is totally different than
actually giving Jesus Christ lordship of your life.
What does it means for Jesus Christ to be
Lord of your life? It means that Lord Jesus
Christ has total control of your life? It means
that as your Lord, Jesus Christ makes the
decisions for your life, according to his will,
and his plan. You are out of control and Jesus
Christ is in control. It means that you
acknowledge the Lord Jesus Christ not just
with your mouth, but with your life. You allow
your life to be governed by the Word of God,
(which by the way, according to John 1:14 is
Jesus Christ).

It means you no longer allow the lusts of
your flesh to control you. You allow the Lord
Jesus to crucify your flesh (allowing it to suffer
by not fulfilling its desires), as you faithfully
become obedient to God’s word. Because you
are a free-willed person, you must concede to
(allow), or give a lord the authority to lord over
you and you subject yourself to his dominion,
power and authority.
If the Lord Jesus Christ is your lord, God’s
word and his will, will govern your life. If Satan
is your lord he will deceive you into making the
decisions which are contrary to God's word and
his will for your life.
Jeremiah 29:11 For I know the thoughts that I think
toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and
not of evil, to give you an expected end.
God knows the plans he has for you.
God's children follow his plan through their lord,
Jesus Christ. Satan desires you to disdain and
reject the plans of God by making your own
decisions. Decisions that will bring destruction,
desolation and anguish upon yourself. Such is
not the will of God; it is a result of Satan's
lordship.
Many are taught to set life goals and career
paths, sadly however, they are not taught to seek
the Lord Jesus Christ first.

When you plan your own destiny, you are in
violation of God’s word and his will. When you
do what you want to do, Jesus Christ is not your
lord, and if he is not, guess who is!!
Many are or have been deceived into
thinking that attending a religious service equates
to Jesus Christ being their Lord. This is a fallacy
and another one of Satan’s deceptive lies.
A Lord requires loyalty, obedience, and the
right to control. If your Lord does not have these
aspects of your life, he is not your Lord and you
are just calling him Lord. Calling Jesus Christ
“lord” does not mean you have given him
lordship.
Satan lords over and controls you through
the deceitful lusts of your flesh. Because the
flesh wants what it wants it, and does not like to
be ruled nor lorded over, Satan would have one to
"look holy" or "act holy" but not allow the
Lord Jesus to make the fundamental changes
needed to transform them into his image as their
"new" Lord. Many will call Jesus Christ “lord”
but will not allow him to be their Lord because of
their fleshly desires and their unwillingness to be
delivered from the fleshly desires that causes
them to sin.
John 8:44 Ye are of your father the devil, and the
lusts of your father ye will do.

When a situation or circumstance is not
favorable or conducive to your liking, is it your
way or his way? Is it your will or His will?
These important aspects will help you to determine
if Jesus Christ is your Lord or not.
Through the lordship of Jesus Christ, you
must be taught God’s way of living, which will be
conducive to the new creature you will become.
You will be taught how put off (crucify) the old
man, thus nullifying Satan’s lordship.

Colossians 3:9 Lie not one to another, seeing that ye


have put off the old man with his deeds;
Colossians 3:10 And have put on the new man, which is
renewed in knowledge after the image of him that
created him:

Sin is disobedience to God, it also incurs a


debt with God that must be paid. Thank God,
through our Lord Jesus Christ the price has been
paid for us who believe on his deity as Christ and
Lord.
Romans 6:20 -23 For when ye were the servants of sin,
ye were free from righteousness. What fruit had ye then
in those things whereof ye are now ashamed? for the
end of those things is death. But now being made free
from sin, and become servants to God, ye have your
fruit unto holiness, and the end everlasting life. For the
wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life
through Jesus Christ our Lord.

Notice that the scripture says the gift of
eternal life is through Jesus Christ our Lord.
If Satan is your lord, you cannot expect
to receive God’s gift of eternal life that only
comes through his son Jesus Christ our Lord.
The end of the process of salvation
through Jesus Christ is eternal life. Therefore,
it is vital that you know of a surety who is
lording over you.
You determine the salvation of your
soul. There is only one way into Heaven,
through Jesus Christ our Lord.

John 10:9 I am the door: by me if any man


enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out,
and find pasture.

Chapter III
What is a Lord?

For whether we live, we


live unto the Lord; and
whether we die, we die
unto the Lord: whether
we live therefore, or die,
we are the Lord’s.

Romans 14:8

In order to determine and clarify the
lordship of Jesus Christ, we must determine what
a lord is.
Webster's dictionary defines a "Lord" as a
leader, chief, commander, a king, a master, a
governor, monarch or potentate.
The Greek term as defined in Strong’s
Exhaustive Concordance is - kurios which
means "supremacy". It also means a master.
Strong’s also give the following definitions:
a) he to whom a person or thing belongs,
about which he, (the lord) has the power of
deciding, master, lord
b) the possessor and disposer of a thing,
the owner, the one who has control of the of
that th at h e po ssess person, the master
c) a title of honor expressive of respect
and reverence, with which servants salute their
master.
d) A ruler by hereditary right or
preeminence to whom service and obedience
are due
e) A title for God and Christ one who
exercises supernatural authority over
mankind, Lord, Ruler, One who commands.

The Greek word "kurios" is taken from the
root word "kuriakos", meaning "belonging to the
Lord" the Lord who has dominion over,
exercises lordship over, is Lord of, to be lord of,
to rule, have dominion over, to exercise
influence upon, to have power over, or
government. Lordship in the New Testament
means one who possesses dominion; one having
power and authority over others.
The most common equivalent of ‘Lord’ is
a term meaning ‘chief’ or ‘leader,’ but
frequently this can be employed as a title for
‘God.
One may, however, combine such an
expression with a term for ‘God’ and employ a
phrase meaning ‘God our leader’ or ‘God our
chief.’ In some instances, however, a term for
‘Lord’ is related to a verb meaning ‘to
command’ or ‘to order’.
And therefore ‘Lord’ is rendered as ‘the
one who commands us’ and combined with
‘God’ may form a phrase such as ‘God, the one
who commands us. LORD - Y@hovah yeh-ho-
vaw - the proper name of the one true God.

In summary, a “Lord” is the master, the
supreme ruler, commander, the one who
possesses supreme (final) authority.
The Lord has the control of his servants.
The Lord’s servants belong to and serve him.
The Lord has the power of deciding, as
the Lord possesses and exercises dominion
over his subjects.
The Lord is “Lord of” those that concede
(allow) the lord to have lordship over them.
The lordship of a lord can never assumed as it
MUST be declared and yielded to by the servant
of the Lord.
The servant is subject to his Lord’s
“kingly government” Servants serve their Lord
by faithfully obeying their Lord. The servant
belongs to his Lord body, soul, and spirit.
The servant trusts the decisions of his Lord,
by faith, regardless of how they feel or what they
think about his decisions.
You are servants to whom ye obey. Whose
servant are you?

Chapter IV
Lord or personal Saviour

But grow in grace, and


in the knowledge of our
Lord and Saviour Jesus
Christ. To him be glory
both now and forever.
Amen.

Many believers base their salvation on
what they were taught. Many have been or are
now taught that if they ask Jesus to "come into
their hearts" and that if they “receive” Jesus
Christ as their “personal Saviour”, that this is the
assurance of eternal salvation, unfortunately this
is not the truth, neither is there any scriptural nor
biblical foundation for such teaching. It is a
religious belief and a satanic fallacy.
Nowhere in God's word does it tell one to
receive Jesus Christ as their "personal" Saviour,
nor does it instruct us to ask Jesus Christ to
"come into our hearts" to receive salvation..
Our salvation must be based upon the truth
of God’s Word, not supposition, man’s doctrine
or religion. It is important to know the truth of
God’s Word to have assurance of his salvation.
John 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the
way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto
the Father, but by me.
One cannot expect for God to honor
something that is not in his Word. The above
phrases, as we will learn, are not even contained
in God’s Word. Therefore, let us study and search
the scriptures for the truth about the fallacy of
"personal saviour".

The scripture traditionally quoted as the
basis for salvation is as follows:
Romans 10:9 "That if thou shalt confess with
thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine
heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou
shalt be saved.
Romans 10:10 For with the heart man believeth
unto righteousness and with the mouth confession is
made unto salvation."
To begin our study let’s examine Romans
10:9, which states that if (a conditional
preposition) thou shall "confess"….
The Greek definition for confess is "homologeo"
1) to say the same thing as another, i.e. to
agree with, assent
2) to concede 2a) not to refuse, to promise
2b) not to deny,
3) to profess i.e. declare openly, speak out
freely: to profess one's self the worshiper of one
4) to praise, celebrate with your mouth...
declare openly with your mouth, to say, to
confess, to acknowledge.
To acknowledge with your mouth (not just
one time either) the Lord Jesus, means that you
openly declare and profess yourself to be a believer
and worshipper of Jesus Christ. It also means that
you do not deny that he is Lord and that you agree
with Acts 2:36, that God made Jesus both Lord
and Christ.

It also means that you believe (to think to be
true, to be persuaded,) in your heart (your
innermost being, your mind) that God hath raised
Jesus Christ from the dead, thou shalt be saved
(safe, made whole and delivered from the
penalties of the Messianic judgment.)
Nowhere in these scriptures does it instruct
one to – “ask Jesus to come into their heart” (you
must believe in your heart that God raised Jesus
Christ from the dead) nor does the scripture says
to confess him as your "personal" Saviour!!" The
word "Saviour" or personal is not even in these
scripture!!
Do you concede that Jesus Christ is Lord?
Some do not believe that Jesus is Lord, based upon
the fact that they do not believe in Jesus Christ's
resurrection from the dead by the Father. If you do
not believe in His resurrection, you cannot believe
that He is Lord, because he was not made Lord
until after his resurrection. (Matthew 28:18). If,
you concede to and agree that Jesus Christ is Lord,
then you will allow Jesus Christ to lord over you,
or to be your Lord. Therefore you declare his
lordship of your life by referring to him as “your
Lord Jesus. Nowhere in these Scriptures does not
tell us to confess him as Lord just one time!! One
declare (confess) Jesus as Lord every time they
speak of him or in his name.

When you give Jesus Christ lordship of
your life, you acknowledge and celebrate him as
Lord every day. You seek his will and accept his
government of your life every day. You allow
the Lord Jesus to have lordship (dominion) of
your life, to lead and guide you daily according
to his will.
In respect to Jesus Christ our Lord, you
would not refer to him just “Jesus” because he is
no longer just Jesus – God made him both Lord
and Christ. Therefore because you believe that he
is Lord and Christ when you confess, declare or
acknowledge who he is, you do so by referring to
h i m as “your Lord Jesus” or your lord Jesus
Christ”.
This also his commandment,
1 John 3:23 That we should believe on the
name of his Son Jesus Christ, and love one another,
as he gave us commandment.

Personal Saviour?
We must now examine the fallacy of asking
the Lord Jesus Christ to be one’s “personal Saviour”.
As I must remind you again, nowhere in
the scriptures does it tell us that Jesus Christ
wants to be your "personal" savior. Jesus Christ
is Saviour of the world, period!!

1 John 4:14 And we have seen and do testify
that the Father sent the Son to be the Saviour of the
world.
To dispel this popular myth, we must study
the word "Saviour".
Nelson's Illustrated Bible Dictionary
describes "Saviour” as a person who rescues
others from evil, danger, or destruction.
In Strong’s Hebrew and Greek Dictionary,
the Hebrew (Old Testament) definition of Saviour
is – yasha - properly to be open, wide or free, that is,
(by implication) to be safe; causatively to free or
succor: - avenging, defend, deliver (-er), help,
preserve, rescue, be safe, bring (having) salvation,
save (-iour), get victory. And yesha‛ - liberty,
deliverance, prosperity: - safety, salvation, saving.
Israel was God's chosen people. He was a
Saviour to Israel because he "caused them to be
safe" and freed them from bondage. He "delivered
them from their enemies, he caused them to be
victorious and saved them in battle".
However God promised Israel a "redeemer"
that would turn from their perpetual sins.
Isaiah 59:20 And the Redeemer shall come to
Zion, and unto them that turn from transgression in
Jacob, saith the LORD.
Therefore the "saviour" promised to Israel
was Jesus the Christ. Israel viewed God Himself
as the Saviour:

Isaiah. 45:21."There is no other God besides Me, a
just God and a Saviour"
Ps.106:21 They forgat God their saviour, which
had done great things in Egypt;
Because God is the source of salvation, he
sends human Saviors (deliverers) to rescue His
people. This word was also used to describe the
judges of Israel, these "Saviours" or "deliverers"
rescued God's people from oppression by their
enemies (Judge 3:9,15).
Now let us examine the meaning of
Saviour in the New Testament. In Strong’s
Hebrew and Greek Dictionary, the Greek
definition for Saviour is -
sōzō -safe; to save, that is, deliver or protect (literally or
figuratively): - heal, preserve, save (self), do well, be
(make) whole.
sōtē r - From G4982; a deliverer, that is, God or Christ: -
saviour.
Easton’s Bible Dictionary renders the
following definition - The name “Saviour” was
given to one who saves from any form or degree of
evil. In its highest sense the word indicates the
relation sustained by our Lord to his redeemed
ones, he is their Saviour.
God’s Word’s declare the following scripture
on our Saviour – Jesus Christ.
Acts 13:23 Of this man’s seed hath God according to
his promise raised unto Israel a Saviour, Jesus:

For unto you is born this day in the city of David a
Saviour, which is Christ the Lord. (KJV)
Luke 2:11 And said unto the woman, Now we believe, not
because of thy saying: for we have heard him ourselves,
and know that this is indeed the Christ,
the Saviour of the world.
John 4:42 Him hath God exalted with his right hand to be
a Prince and a Saviour, for to give
repentance to Israel, and forgiveness of sins.
Acts 5:31 Him hath God exalted with his right
hand to be a Prince and a Saviour, for to give repentance
to Israel, and forgiveness of sins.
1 John 4:14 And we have seen and do testify

world."
NONE of these scriptures instructs one to
“receive” the Lord Jesus Christ as our "personal
Saviour". It is through our Lord Jesus Christ
(the Saviour) that we have obtained salvation.
Salvation is for EVERYONE!
You can personally believe that Jesus
Christ is the Saviour of the world. In doing so,
you acknowledge that you personally believe that
Jesus Christ is the Saviour as prophesied by the
Prophets; but that does not mean nor imply that
you have “confessed” the Lord Jesus or given
him lordship of your life. Jesus Christ does not
want to be just your Saviour, he is already that!

He wants to be something that only you can let
him be - “your Lord”.
For him to be your Savior and not your
Lord is denying who he is. He is BOTH Lord
and Christ. Not one or the other.
None of the above referenced scriptures
refers to our Lord Jesus Christ as one’s
“personal” Saviour, nor does it instruct one to
make or receive him as your personal saviour.
As a matter of fact the word “personal” is not
even in God’s Word.
It is through the Lord (lordship) of Jesus
Christ that we enter into the kingdom of Heaven,
and inherit the promises of God. It is through
Jesus Christ our Lord!
Jesus Christ died for the sins of all of
mankind. Everyone has the opportunity to be
"saved, delivered, or made whole", but not
everyone will “saved” because of what or in
whom they believe.
Acts 2:36 says God made Jesus both Lord
and Christ. Jesus Christ is both Lord and Christ
(Saviour). Not one or the other.
It is a cleverly devised trick of Satan for
one desiring to be saved, to just “confess” that
Jesus Christ is their "personal Saviour", but not
acknowledge him as Lord, nor allow Jesus
Christ to be Lord of their life.

While the word "personal" may describe a
desired relationship the Lord Jesus Christ
desires to have with his servants, it in no way
concedes, declares openly, gives, nor yields to
the lordship of the Lord Jesus Christ.
This is why, according to Matt 7:21 the
Lord Jesus will say to many “I NEVER KNEW
YOU” Yes, you may have done many wonderful
works in his name, but did you have a
relationship with him? A Lord must have a
master/servant relationship with his servants.
Therefore if you must confess Jesus Christ as
your "personal" anything, confess him as
"personal" Lord.
He is Saviour of the world.

Lordship – A matter of
control.

No servant can serve


two masters;

You can only serve one Lord and have
one Master.

Matthews 6:24 No man can serve two masters: for


either he will hate the one, and love the other.

A Lord (master) must have total control of


his servants. The obedience of a servant to his
Lord determines his relationship with his Lord.

Romans 6:16 Know ye not, that to whom ye yield


yourselves servants to obey, his servants ye are…

A Lord demands obedience. His true


servants will adhere to his will and obey his word.
You CANNOT be neutral in regards to
serving your Lord. You will serve whoever lords
over you, and you will yield to that lord’s
lordship. You will serve either The Lord Jesus
Christ or Satan, the God of this world. Satan
wants to deceive you into thinking you can do
both, you cannot.
Romans 16:18 For they that are such serve not our
Lord Jesus Christ, but their own belly; and by good
words and fair speeches deceive the hearts of the
simple.
That is the trick! - talk holy, look holy and
perform religious acts but just do not live holy.

As long as Satan can keep you in bondage
to the desires of your flesh and fleshly mind (to
serve them); he thereby keeps you under his
control and retains his lordship over you.
Ephesians 2:3 Among who also we all our conversation in
times past in the lusts of out flesh, fulfilling the desires of
the flesh and of the mind; and were by nature children of
wrath, even as others.

When Satan is your lord he seduces you into


fulfilling the desires your of your sinful nature,
(your flesh), and not yield to the Lord Jesus Christ.
Satan know that by you doing so, you are "by
nature" a child of wrath not a child of God.
Galatians 5:16-17 This I say then, Walk in the
Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh. For
the flesh lusteth against the Spirit, and the Spirit
against the flesh: and these are contrary the one to the
other: so that ye cannot do the things that ye would.

You cannot “walk” in the Spirit (the


Lordship of Jesus Christ) and walk after your
flesh at the same time. Because lordship
commands obedience, you will minded to serve
(obey) your true Lord, and rebel against any other
lord. Again, you cannot serve two masters (lords)
at the same time.

Your Lord (whoever it is) will have power
over, be in charge of, and direct (control) you.
Whomever you serve is your Lord.
Romans 6:16 Know ye not, that to whom ye yield
yourselves servants to obey, his servants ye are to whom
ye obey; whether of sin unto death, or of obedience unto
righteousness?

If Jesus Christ is your Lord, his word, his


will and his way must be the controlling factor in
your life. If Satan is still lord, you will be
minded to fulfill the lusts and desires of your
flesh.
Your Lord will expect his will to be served.
Our Lord Jesus Christ rules through his Holy
Spirit (Holy Ghost), Satan rules through the
flesh).
Galatians 5:19-21 Now the works of the flesh are
manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication,
uncleanness, lasciviousness, Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred,
variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies,
Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such
like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told
you in time past, that they which do such things shall not
inherit the kingdom of God.

This is why Satan wants to keep you in
bondage to your flesh!!
Your flesh disinherits you from the
kingdom of God, which is where all your
blessings are and is where you want to spend
eternity!!
Satan knows how to seduce you into
obeying the lusts of your flesh, which is why
your flesh must be crucified, otherwise you will
continue to serve your flesh and he retains
lordship over you.
James 1:14-15 But every man is tempted, when he
is drawn away of his own lust, and enticed (to bait,
deceive). Then when lust hath conceived (to seize, take:
one as prisoner), it bringeth forth sin: and sin, when it is
finished, bringeth forth death.

When fleshly desires are conceded to and


fulfilled, the lordship of Jesus is then opposed
rather than yielded to.
Romans 8:7 Because the carnal mind is enmity against
God: for it is not subject to the law of God,
neither indeed can be

A carnal mind is enmity against God!


Enmity means -enemy, foe, a certain enemy
1) hated, odious, hateful
2) hostile, hating, and opposing another
opposing (God) in the mind.

The carnal minded is hostile towards God’s
word, God's will and the lordship of Jesus Christ.
It is God’s enemy. And it is against God and
results in death (separation from God).
Romans 8:6 For to be carnally minded is death;
but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.

The carnal mind is opposed to God or


anything that has to do with God’s word, God’s
will or God’s ways. The carnal mind will never be
subject to God, nor the lordship (government) of
Jesus Christ, because it cannot be. It will be in
constant opposition to Jesus’s lordship. Satan will
try to seduce you into thinking carnally, and
to fulfill the desires of your fleshly mind, thus
keeping you in bondage to the lust of your flesh
and keeping you from becoming spiritually minded.
If he is able to succeed in this endeavor, he secretly
retains lordship, and in doing so you remain "carnal
minded", which keeps Satan in control, and your
lord, instead of the Lord Jesus Christ.
Galatians 5:17 For the flesh lusteth (to turn upon a
thing) against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh:
and these are contrary the one to the other: so that ye
cannot do the things that ye would.

Satan’s conspiracy.

Lest Satan should

Before you gave Jesus Christ lordship of
your life, you were Satan's servant. When you
gave Jesus Christ lordship of your life, you
became Satan's enemy, and that is when the
warfare for lordship (control) began.
Romans 7:15 – 22 give us insight on how
Satan conspires with your flesh to reign as lord in
your life. -
Rom 7:15 For that which I do I allow not: for
what I would, that do I not; but what I hate, that do
16 If then I do that which I would not, I
consent unto the law that it is good.
17 Now then it is no more I that do it, but
sin that dwelleth in me.
18 For I know that in me (that is, in my flesh,)
dwelleth no good thing: for to will is present with me;
but how to perform that which is good I find not.
19 For the good that I would I do not: but
the evil which I would not, that I do.
20 Now if I do that I would not, it is no
more I that do it, but sin that dwelleth in me.
21 I find then a law, that, when I would
do good, evil is present with me.
22 For I delight in the law of God after
the inward man:
23 But I see another law in my members,
warring against the law of my mind, and bringing me
into captivity to the law of sin which is in my members.

These scriptures speak of a dilemma, that
the chief Apostle Paul was having with his
flesh. Look at verses 16-18: Here Paul states
“the things he wants to do, he does not; and the
things he hates, that he does!” What he should
be doing he did not do, and what he should not
be doing, he found himself doing!! Does this
sound familiar?? Paul concedes that it is no
more him, but “sin that dwelleth in him”. Paul
then recognized a “law”: nomos – a) anything
established, a custom, a law, a command, a rule
producing a state, b) anything that governs,
controls or directs), that was in his members
that was warring against the law of my mind,
and bringing him into captivity to the law of
sin which is in his members.
This "law" was the control of his old
"carnal minded" man. The "old man" had
established a law, (government)or control
through lusts, desires and affections.
Satan was using the “law” of the flesh
(the old man) to war against the “new man”
Paul had become. Satan’s agenda was to
regain lordship of Paul’s life through his old
man. However, Paul understood what was
going on and instead of yielding to his flesh he
resisted the Devil and
drew close to God through Jesus Christ our
Lord.

That ye put off concerning the former
conversation the old man, which is corrupt
according to the deceitful lusts; Ephesians 4:22
The old man, “self” was used to being
obeyed through the commands of its lusts and
desires, which culminated in bondage to Satan.
When you give Jesus Christ lordship, he frees
you from Satan's bondage by “recreating” you
through his Godly government, which is God’s
Word.
God’s Word, his will and his way will be
the new government.
And that ye put on the new man, which after
God is created in righteousness and true holiness.
Ephesians 4:24
Jesus’ new government establishes a new
way of living, which is totally opposite from the
life the law of sin used to govern through the old
man (self). That is when spiritual warfare begins.

Galatians 5:17For the flesh lusteth against the


Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh: and these are
contrary the one to the other: so that ye cannot do the
things that ye would.
But I see another law in my members, warring
against the law of my mind, and bringing me into
captivity to the law of sin which is in my members.
Romans 7:23

Paul says the "law of sin" was in his
members was warring against the law of God (in
his mind) and was attempting to bring him back
into captivity to the law of sin. Paul delighted in
the law of God (the Lordship of Jesus Christ)
after the inward man (his Spirit), but the law
(control) of sin continued "warring" against the
law of God in his heart and mind.
Satan will conspire with your "old man",
to bring you back into the captivity to the lusts
of your flesh and the law of sin which keeps you
carnal (fleshly) minded. Satan knows that to be
carnally minded is death - (separation) of the
Lord Jesus’ lordship in your life.

Romans 8:6-8 For to be carnally minded [is]


death but to be spiritually minded [is] life and
peace. Because the carnal mind[is] enmity against
God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither
indeed can be. So then they that are in the flesh
cannot please God.

Jesus Christ frees you from sin.

Romans 6:6-7 Knowing this, that our


old man is crucified with him, that the body
of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we
should not serve sin. For he that is dead is
freed from sin.

Satan has not changed nor has his tactics.
The same agenda he had for Paul, he has for any
born- again believer. He knows the flesh does
not like to suffer. It will balk to get its way.
By utilizing demons to cause aggravations, trials,
and tribulations to stir up the flesh, which will
war against the control of the Holy Spirit,
thereby bringing the believer back into being
carnal minded instead of spiritually minded and
ultimately Satan regains lordship. Being carnal
minded instead of spiritually minded not only
separates you from God but it also nullifies the
lordship of Jesus Christ.
Satan’s agenda is for a believer to call Jesus
lord, yet still serve him.

Chapter VII
The Carnal Mind

Because the carnal mind is


enmity against God:
for it is not subject to the law
of God, neither indeed can
be. So then they that are in
the flesh cannot please God.

Romans 8:7-8

The "carnal mind or the old man” is God's
enemy and the enemy's ally.
Romans 8:7 says the "carnal mind" is
"enmity" (odious, hateful, deep-seeded hatred)
against God and is not subject to the law of God
(God's control or government), NEITHER
INDEED CAN BE!! The "carnal mind" can
never be subject to the Lordship of Jesus Christ,
therefore the Lordship of Jesus Christ is out of
the question for the carnally minded person.
The Greek word for "carnal” is "sarx"
which means a) the sensuous nature of man, the
animal nature with cravings which incite to sin
a) the flesh, denotes mere human nature,
the earthly nature of man apart from divine
influence, and therefore prone to sin and opposed
to God.
From these definitions, we can see the
"carnal" mind incites (urges or encourages) one
to sin. It is by nature, prone to sin and opposed
to God. The carnal mind or the Adamic nature
of man cannot, neither will not be subject to the
Lordship of Jesus Christ. It steadfastly opposes
the control of the Holy Spirit, and vice-versa
(Galatians 5:16).
Satan will continually fight to regain
control through his staunchest ally, the carnal
mind.

If he can regain control, by getting you to
remain or resort back into being carnally minded,
you give him back authority through sin and put
him back in control.
That's why the "old man" must be crucified.
Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with
him, that the body of sin might be
destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin.
Romans 6:6
Until the flesh is crucified, Satan will always
use it to battle for control and in most cases will
win the battle. He wins, especially if the person is
a babe in Christ, ignorant to Satan's devices or is
not knowledgeable in spiritual warfare.
But I see another law in my members, warring
against the law of my mind, and bringing me into
captivity to the law of sin which is in my members.
Romans 7:23
Satan wants believers to remain his
servants through their flesh. In doing so, Jesus
Christ may be called "lord" but never given
lordship.
Romans 6:16 Know ye not, that to whom ye yield
yourselves servants to obey, his servants ye are to
whom ye obey; whether of sin unto death, or of
obedience unto righteousness?
Notice the scripture say "to whom ye yield
yourselves to obey”

That is how he entraps believers by arousing
the "old man" and his carnal- minded ways. He
brings forth lust, which opens the door for sin,
which leads to death.
A of this is a cleverly devised trick or trap
instituted by Satan. But, because the only power
he possess is the power of suggestion, you have
to "yield" or "give in" to his suggestions. When
or if you do, you are serving him because
Romans 6:16 hath said, "to whom ye yield
yourselves servant to obey, his servant ye are"
It makes Satan no difference if you attend
church faithfully, sing in the choir, usher, etc., as
long as you remain carnally minded. Satan does
not care how many “hallelujahs” or “praise the
Lord” comes out of your mouth, just as long as
he is still lord. If you remain carnal minded, he
remains lord, and that is his ultimate goal. He
cannot stop you from believing but he can
deceive you. Deception is his greatest tool.

1John 3:7 Little children, let no man deceive


you: he that doeth righteousness is righteous,
even as he is righteous.

This pure unadulterated deception is


perpetrated on many believers through doctrines
of devils and the spirit of the anti-Christ.

Chapter VIII

No Condemnation

There is therefore now


no condemnation to them
which are in Christ Jesus,
who walk not after the
flesh, but after the Spirit.

Romans 8:1

When you initially gave Jesus Christ lordship
you were carnally minded, but it's not God's will
for you to remain carnally minded.
There is therefore now no condemnation to them
which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the
flesh, but after the Spirit. Rom 8:1
This is why Rom 8:1 instructs us to "walk"
after the Spirit.
To "walk" means
a) to walk, to be occupied
b) to make one's way, progress
c) to conduct one's self
d) c) to pass one's life
e) the disposition or influence which fills
and governs the soul of any one

If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.


Galatians 5:25
This I say therefore, and testify in the Lord,
that ye henceforth walk not as other Gentiles walk, in
the vanity of their mind, Ephesians 4:17

Therefore to "walk after the Spirit” means


to: PROGRESSIVELY begin to be controlled,
influenced and governed by God through the
Lordship (government) of Jesus Christ, our Lord,
and the power of the Holy Ghost. After one is
born again, this new walk will begin.

Being filled with the fruits of righteousness,
which are by Jesus Christ, unto the glory and
praise of God. Philippians 1:11

Therefore, you progressively go from being


controlled by Satan through your flesh, the carnal
man, to being controlled by our Lord
Jesus, through the Holy Spirit which lives in
your spirit.
When you walk you take one step at a time
and you progress as you walk. God's
righteousness is fulfilled in those who walk not
after the flesh (carnal mind) but after the Spirit.
(Romans 8:4) In order to “walk not after the
flesh” we must have a renewed mind and a new
will.
Satan does not want you to progress in the
Lord, and you will not remain in a neutral place
in the Lord. You will either progress or regress
(backslide).
Please do not believe the old religious hype
that God is married to the backslider. He is not.
Jeremiah 3:12 and 14a has been taken completely
out of context and many believe that they can
live a “backslidden” life because “God is married
to the backslider”, which is another one of
Satan's deceptive lies.

Go and proclaim these words toward the north,
and say, Return, thou backsliding Israel,
saith the LORD; and I will not cause mine anger to
fall upon you: for I am merciful, saith the LORD,
and I will not keep anger forever. Turn, O
backsliding children, saith the LORD; for I am
married unto you: Jeremiah 3:12&14a

The children of Israel were walking away


from God and God was beseeching them to return
to him. Today's believers are under a completely
new and different covenant, so therefore this
scripture does not apply to a New Testament
believer. If a believer can backslide, that means
the entire Body of Christ must backslide because
New Testament believers (the Church) are one
Body.
A believer must be taught how to “walk
after the Spirit” by the Spirit of God, and stop
walking after the (desires) of the flesh. This
accomplished by the Holy Ghost teaching us to
progressively walk away from obeying the lust
of the flesh to walking towards obedience to
God, through our Lord Jesus Christ.
One does not instantaneously go from
being carnal minded to being spiritually mind, it
is a process. That process can only be
completed by the Lord Jesus Christ, through his
Holy Spirit.

This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall
not fulfil the lust of the flesh. Galatians 5:16
This is why one must “walk the walk”, not
“talk the walk”.
The direction of your walk must change.
You cannot walk after the Spirit of God and
continue to fulfill the lust of the flesh. You must
allow the Lord Jesus Christ to crucify your flesh
so that you can begin to “walk after the Spirit”.
This I say therefore, and testify in the Lord, that ye
henceforth walk not as other Gentiles walk,
in the vanity of their mind, having the understanding
darkened, being alienated from the life of God
through the ignorance that is in them, because of the
blindness of their heart: Who being past feeling have
given themselves over unto lasciviousness, to work
all uncleanness with greediness. But ye have not so
learned Christ; Ephesians 4:17-20

This is how you used to walk. If a believer


continues to walk the same way that they did before
giving Jesus Christ lordship, they have not learned
about Christ and is untaught. When Jesus Christ is
given lordship your walk will change.

If you do not change, you will take on the
same demeanor as the children of Israel. They
called God "lord", yet they were walking away
from him.
The focus of your direction must change
from your will to God’s will. You will become a
new creature, created in the image of your new
lord, Jesus Christ.
That ye put off concerning the former
conversation the old man, which is corrupt
according to the deceitful lusts; And be
renewed in the spirit of your mind;
And that ye put on the new man, which after God is
created in righteousness and true holiness.
Wherefore putting away lying, speak every
man truth with his neighbor: for we are members
one of another. Ephesians 4:20-24.

Notice the Word of God says “the new man”,


which is created in righteousness and true holiness
(not a religion).
Furthermore then we beseech you, brethren, and exhort
you by the Lord Jesus, that as ye have received of us
how ye ought to walk and to please God, so ye would
abound more and more.
For God hath not called us unto uncleanness, but unto
holiness 1Thessalonians 4:1 &7a

Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not
inherit the kingdom of God? Be not
deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor
adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of
themselves with mankind, Nor thieves, nor covetous,
nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall
inherit the kingdom of God.
And such were some of you: but ye are washed, but
ye are sanctified, but ye are justified in the name of
the Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit of our God. 1
Corinthians 6:9-11

A change in “your walk” is of the utmost


importance. Will you stumble sometimes? Of
course you will, but you will not be under
condemnation, because you are no longer walking
after the flesh, but after the Spirit. God’s grace
will cover your stumbling.

And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for


thee: for my strength is made perfect in
weakness. 2 Corinthians 12:9a

Is grace an excuse to keep sinning or to


walk after your fleshly lusts?
What shall we say then? Shall we continue in
sin, that grace may abound? God forbid.
How shall we, that are dead to sin, live
any longer therein? Romans 6:1-2

What then? shall we sin, because we are not
under the law, but under grace? God
forbid. Romans 6:15

If we say that we have fellowship with him, and


walk in darkness, we lie, and do not the
truth: 1John 1:6
God’s word says it all! You cannot walk in
sin and righteousness at the same time.
Your walk will change directions, when
Jesus Christ is your Lord. But remember, it is a
progressive movement. Not standing still, but
constantly and progressively moving in
obedience towards allowing your Lord Jesus
Christ to have absolute control about how you
live (walk) as his servant.
Our Lord Jesus Christ will teach you how
to walk after the Spirit (him). It will require
obedience to his lordship. It will be totally
opposite of how you may be been accustomed
to walking, however the power of God will help
you to do his will.
How you walk, who you walk with and the
direction in which you walk is vitally important
in determining which direction you are headed,
either up or down.

Depart from iniquity

Nevertheless the
foundation of God standeth
sure, having this seal,
The Lord knoweth them that
are his.
And, let everyone that
nameth the name of Christ
depart from iniquity

2Timothy 2:19

What will Jesus say to those who did not
give him lordship even though they may have
called him “Lord”?
He will say "depart from me ye that work
iniquity...” Many do not realize the seriousness
of iniquity. It is the greatest enemy to lordship.
Here’s why –
The word iniquity occurs in the scriptures
262 times.
The Hebrew meaning for iniquity is
“Avon” (aw- vone) which means perversity,
depravity immorality, wantonness, corruption,
moral evil, mischief and sin.
The Greek word for iniquity is “anomia”,
which means unrighteousness, transgression of
the law, the condition of without law, contempt
and violation of law, without law, transgressor,
lawless destitute of God's law and not subject
to the law or the government of our Lord Jesus
Christ. That is why iniquity is the greatest
enemy to lordship.
It is what Satan employs to have one rebel
against Jesus’ lordship.
By instruction of the Holy Ghost I must
covey the seriousness of iniquity through God’s
holy Word.
When God was instructing the children of
Israel concerning his law, he spoke of iniquity.

Exodus 20:5 “Thou shalt not bow down thyself to
them, nor serve them: for I the LORD thy God am a
jealous God, visiting (to reckon, to punish) the iniquity
of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth
generation of them that hate me”

Psalms 5:5 - The foolish shall not stand in thy


sight: thou hatest all workers of iniquity.

Psalms 53:1 The fool hath said in his heart,


There is no God. Corrupt are they, and have done
abominable iniquity:

Proverbs 10:29 The way of the LORD is


strength to the upright: but destruction shall be to
The workers of iniquity.

Isaiah 13:11 And I will punish the world for


their evil, and the wicked for their iniquity; and I will
cause the arrogancy of the proud to cease, and will lay
low the haughtiness of the terrible.

Ezekiel 28:15 Thou wast perfect in thy ways


from the day that thou wast created, till iniquity
was found in thee.

Matthews 13:41 The Son of man shall send


forth his angels, and they shall gather out of his
kingdom all things that offend, and them which
do iniquity;

Iniquity is apart from sin. Iniquity is the
mindset of sin, just as obedience is the mindset of
righteousness. Sin is transgression of God’s law.
While some sin is committed through ignorance, it is
still a transgression, but a forgivable one.
While the only transgression that is unforgivable
is blasphemy of the Holy Ghost), iniquity is
forthright lawlessness.
Iniquity is refusing to be governed;
especially by God through our Lord Jesus Christ,
mankind or anybody for that matter. Iniquity is
doing what ones desires regardless of God's law
(his word), man's law or any law. It is allowing the
depravity of the carnal man (carnal mind) to
control one’s life with total disregard for God and
contempt for God’s Word, his will or his way, thus
being a violator of God’s law.
A “worker” of iniquity is anyone who is
lawless, without control, and has no regard for
authority or government in their life. One who
practices such lawlessness systematically or
habitually, one who breaks God’s and man’s
laws, and who has reckless disregard for either.
They want their way and will devise evil to get it,
regardless of who they hurt, use or abuse.

One who lives under the control the fleshly
mind, because the flesh (carnal mind) is not
subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be!
(Roman 8:7)
Going to church every Sunday, and living an
iniquitous life Monday through Saturday is Satan's
agenda.

Matthews 23:28 Even so ye also outwardly


appear righteous unto men, but within ye are full of
hypocrisy and iniquity.

Living a sinful life (habitually) or obeying


the sinful desires of the flesh, and then go to
church on Sunday will not “unmake” you a worker
of iniquity. However, you can depart from
iniquity through the lordship of Jesus Christ.

And why call ye me, Lord, Lord, and do not the


things which I say? Luke 6:46

When you continue to live like you want to


live, obeying the sinful desires of the flesh, doing
what you want to do regardless of what God’s
word says, you work (exercise) iniquity.
Iniquity is a very serious offense in the
eyesight of God.

GOD HATES INIQUITY, and "workers of


iniquity". This why the lordship of Jesus Christ must
be prevalent in one’s life if permanent residence in
Heaven is desired.
The Word of God says to depart - (to make
standoff, cause to withdraw, to remove, to revolt, to
desert, withdraw from) from iniquity". One
must revolt against Satan’s will and his ways
and withdraw from other “workers of iniquity”.
Satan hates it when you revolt against him. That is
why he institutes spiritual warfare against the
believers. His host will pull out all the stops to get
you to revolt against God through iniquity!
You must flip the script on Satan. Be not
deceived, it will definitely take the lordship of Jesus
Christ for one to depart from iniquity, however, it
must be and can be done.

Back to that day

The Lord knoweth how


to deliver the godly out of
temptations, and to reserve
the unjust unto the day of
judgment to be punished:

2Peter 2:9

On “that day”, what will it be like for you?
Rejoicing or weeping and gnashing of the teeth?
What will our Lord Jesus Christ say to you
on that day? Will he say?
“I never knew you: depart from me, ye that
work iniquity” or “Will done thou good and
faithful servant”
My friend, there are no gray areas in regard
to salvation. It is either Heaven or Hell, no other
alternatives.

And if thy right hand offend thee, cut it off, and cast
it from thee: for it is profitable for thee that one of thy
members should perish, and not that thy whole body
should be cast into hell. Matthew 5:30

And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before


God; and the books were opened: and another book was
opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were
judged out of those things which were written in the books,
according to their works. Revelations 20:12

If our Lord Jesus says “depart from me,”


please think about it, where are you going??!!
Beloved, Hell is very real.
If you desire permanent residence in Heaven,
we must put off corruptible and put on
incorruptible. It is only possible to do so is
through the lordship of Jesus Christ.

If you're not sure if Jesus Christ is your lord
or not, and you want to make absolutely sure that
he is by giving him lordship of your life now,
Pray this prayer now.....-
"Lord Jesus, I confess my sins and iniquities,
I repent of them and ask you to forgive me. I am
truly sorry. I believe that you died on the cross for
my sins, And that you paid my sins debt. I truly
believe in my heart that God raised you from the
dead and that you are both LORD and CHRIST.
Lord Jesus, I give you lordship" of my life today.
I yield control of my life to you. I am willing for
you to lord over me and I will trust in your
Lordship. I believe, that by faith, I have received
forgiveness, and I believe that I have been
accepted into your kingdom. By faith, I now
receive the gift of the Holy Ghost that will
empower me to be conformed into your image.
Thank You Lord Jesus, for saving me. I
accept your guidance for my life. I am your
servant. Use me Lord to bring you glory.
Now declare this to your old lord – “Satan,
you are not my lord anymore, Jesus Christ is now
my lord him only will I serve." Amen
You have made the best decision in your life
by giving Jesus Christ lordship of your life. By
giving Jesus Christ the right to exercise his

lordship over you, your life will never be the same
and you will not be disappointed.
God know the plans he has for you (Jeremiah
29:11, Psalm 37:23).
Your new lord, Jesus Christ will now lead
you into all truth and the truth shall make you free.
Yes, your life will change. Yes, Satan will war
against you to regain his lordship, but you already
the victory.

Now thanks be unto God, which always causeth us


to triumph in Christ. 2Corinthians 2:14a

And please, do not refer to your lord as just


"Jesus" anymore. He is the Jesus Christ your Lord
or your Lord Jesus Christ. In celebrating your
Lord, you should not refer to the Lord Jesus as just
"Jesus", you would then be robbing Him of His
God-given deity according to Acts 2:36. You
therefore acknowledge him as "your Lord Jesus"
every time you refer to, talk about or pray in his
name.
Allow your Lord to have his way in your life.
Yes, he must crucify your flesh, but he knows how
to do it. Yes, your flesh will suffer, and will war to
regain control, that is why it is very important to
declare, agree and concede the lordship of Jesus
Christ your Lord daily.

Remember if Jesus Christ is not Lord of all;
he is not Lord at all!!
What next?
1. Pray daily. Ask your Lord to bless you
with a prayer partner or prayer group.
Prayer changes things and people too!!
2. Declare that Jesus Christ as your Lord
in every situation, allow him to lord
over you and the situation.

3. STUDY your Lord's word to learn more


about him. It is so important to study his
word so that you may know what his will
and his ways are…. God’s Word will be
the new government of your life, not
your fleshly desires. Therefore you must
study it to know how to govern yourself
accordingly.

4. Be willing to allow our Lord to


crucify your flesh with its affections
and lusts. It is a necessary and vital.

5. Seek you Lord Jesus Christ as to where


would he have you to fellowship and be
discipled.

Remember, as a servant of our Lord Jesus
Christ, you must also become a disciple, and a
disciple is one who is taught the truths and
principles his Master. Your Lord has appointed
gifts in the Church to perfect you. (Ephesians 4:12)
That is why it is vital that you allow him to plant
you into a ministry that is not religious nor
following vain traditions, but where he is lording
through the Holy Ghost.
And lastly, please remember, be patient!
This walk is a process. One step at a time, as you
“walk after the Spirit” and not after the flesh.
(Romans 8:1)
Your lord will not condemn you nor cast you
aside if and when you stumble and fall or error in
his word. He is ALWAYS with you. When you
need help call upon him. He is just a prayer away!

Let your conversation be without covetousness;


and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath
said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.
Hebrews 13:5

When you do not know what to do, ask


your heavenly Father for wisdom. He will freely
give it to you. (James 1:5)
