Summary
Magic Squares are among the oldest and widely known puzzles in the world. The puzzle was discovered by the Chinese around 650BC and was
also part of ancient Indian and Egyptian cultures. Great combination of logical reasoning and number sense. Do a Google search on Magic
Squares, you will be amazed.

Equipment Needed
Puzzle Play Mat
Nine circular disks, numbered from 1 to 9.
A sign that explains how to play and how to set up the challenge
Add your own artwork and story to make the puzzle your own

HOW TO PLAY Puzzle Set Up


Set out the Puzzle Play Mat and place the 9 numbered
tokens on the mat in ready position

Your Objective
Arrange the numbers 1 through 9 in the squares of the
board so that the sum of every row, column and 3-square
diagonal is the same.

8 6 =15
