The class had a field trip and will be busy next week with a mass, Halloween, and no school on Friday. They are using a new math program that teaches concepts differently through more critical thinking and word problems, though showing work is required. The children are struggling to follow directions so parents should reinforce this at home. Upcoming topics include reading comprehension, a religion chapter, graphing in math, and a science unit on sound and vibrations.
