    o Solids- have definite shape, definite volume

    A physical change is a change in matter that
    doesnt form a new substance.
    A physical change also occurs when matter
    changes from one state to another.
    The temperature at which a substance changes
    is one of its physical properties
    The physical property helps to describe and
    identify different kinds of matter.
    Melting is the process of a solid changing into a
    liquid.
    Freezing is the process of a liquid changing into a
    solid

    In science freezing does not always have to


    mean cold.
    Solidifying is when a liquid changes back into a
    solid
    The freezing point is when a liquid changes into a
    solid.
    Vaporization is when boiling occurs and bubbles
    pop with steam rising to the top in vapors.
    The temperature at which vaporization occurs is
    called the boiling point.
    Evaporation is when a liquid changes to a gas and
    gradually deteriorates.
    Condensation is when a gas changes into a liquid
