Motion to add JGSOM concern to the agenda by Mawe Duque. Seconded by

Jared Sarmiento. Motion unanimously approved.
Motion to add UP Lantern Parade concern to the agenda by Polo Martinez.
Seconded by Mikee Defensor. Motion unanimously approved.
New agenda is as follows:
1. Committee Updates
2. Promos Committee Report
3. UP Maskipaps Event
4. JGSOM Concerns
5. New Trike Fare and Bio Complaint
6. COA Partnership For Admin Relations Resolution
7. DSWS
Motion to approve agenda by Ray Gomez. Seconded by Mawe Duque.
1. COMMITTEE UPDATES
a. Mikee: Info session next week, December 3 at Bel. This is for student
leaders. We will be sending invites soon. Ayacat caravan December
9.
i. Polo: For those who dont know, last weekend, Ayacat wanted to
take it up a notch. Exhibit then forum, but it would be timely to
have an event on the last day. But it was very short notice. What
were asking for are 1000 participants to take part in a blue
heart mobilization. Media will be coming over to record the
event. This is a logistical nightmare given the time we have. It
is disturbing of them to impose very abruptly. I want to let it go,
but weve spent too many resources already. ADMU is the host,
so it augments everything. Not sure though if we could push
through with the blue heart. Film viewing for awareness
instead.
1. Ray: What will being the host entail?
a. Polo: Its all politics.
b. Mikee: Legitimize task force. There will be an advocacy tab on our
website so we will be reached better. Another concern: Maguindanao
massacre. Every year there are prayer vigils, etc. but there are lesser
and lesser participants. We were with the lawyer of one of the victims,
sana daw we can raise awareness. Right now, they are not tackling
the case itself yet. It has been 5 years. This is an issue because if we
dont act upon this, nothing will happen. He noticed when Ateneans
mobilize, they are heard. He found it best that we handle this issue.
No concrete plans yet but maybe we can discuss. Advocacy usually is
one time big time, I hope it wont be the same for this and for future
concerns.
i. Ray: I dont think students are disinterested because of lack of
awareness. Lack of means to help. Proactive action plan
perhaps, a means to forward something to congress.
1. Mikee: safe houses for family of victims in Ateneo. We
dont want to settle for something just like that. Focus on
social rather than political. Projects that show immediate

results. How to
shift from the political side to the social?
2. Karlo: Convene presidents of ADC ENTA made a
spectacle on the bridge. Just talk to them to see plans.
Hard to sustain also publicly, especially in Ateneo. Has to
be in a small committee in Sanggu. Networks.
a. Mikee: Legal system is so slow, constantly delayed.
3. Karlo: Are there other movements outside? We can
release a stand, and raise awareness. But I think we need
a coalition outside.
a. Mikee: They have had weekly hearings for five
years. When they calculated it, 100+ suspects
being tried, per case. Not one case has been
resolved.
4. Polo: Do we want to legitimize a task force?
a. Mikee: We want to do something, but there are no
plans yet.
5. Karlo: For the Maguindanao thing, is it okay if you
produce a simple report? Are other groups taking this
up?
a. Mikee: Their lawyer just gave a talk, they really
need help.
i. Karlo: Bring it up with pol sci department.
6. Polo: Expedite process? Its hard to start on a blank slate.
a. Crusadas gonna take it up na.
c. Fer: Students rights. Consolidate efforts, promos to SJC, by tonight,
the schedule will be released. Thats all I know.
d. Ray: Financial Tarnsparency: More data is needed. Clear breakdown.
Athletics fee are already okay na, uniforms also. OSA formation
programs na lang. Supplies, communications. 60% di pa nabreakdown
ng maayos. One week delayed already. Focus on the quick wins. Kind
of enough for an initiative. Next week, will plan out execution of
releasing, processing data. After that sana, may game plan.
e. Polo: Consti review. Radical approach. We have limited time, so I
began to explore a third option. Instead of revising the constitution,
were gonna create the framework for it to be revised by the
succeeding institution. It will be half-assed as of now if we continue.
Well just be facilitating it for next year. I was hesitant of saying this,
given that it has not been well crafted yet. Better step. I hope the
board will approve it. Members of the team will be announced next
week.
i. I considered the problem as a systemic problem. Structural and
mandate problem. But it is only one part of the faade. There is
a fear of consciousness of the students. We cant move forward
without knowing what the problem is. Locate where your
relevance is needed. You dont even have to locate the crisis at
all. Then she got quiet and left. Her son came over, we talked
about contextualizing politics within spaces.

1. Hamoy:
Lenguahe ng estudyante is not compatible with language
of Sanggu. Di tugma. Democracy that were working on,
was created in the past, might not be relevant to us
anymore. Multidimensional, we need more time.
2. Jared: Inform student body about this?
a. Polo: Regarding promos muna. One undergrad
asking for a report of activities Sanggu has done in
the past semester? Every committee can produce a
briefer? Brief description and dates. Send to secgen email.
f. Mawe: it was a success. OAS issues, we have discussed study design
for coa orgs. Consulted with MCA head. Matutuloy na study next
week. Ipapalabas na questionnaire forms. Last week of December, we
have to adjust. Releasing results, 1st week of January is the
presentation of the study. FMO issues, in detail later (Trike fare).
Madel, insights?
i. Madel: Two things 1st, admin wants to increase number of
bikers within Ateneo. 2nd, increase safety and security. Major
points: bike lanes, observed na nasusundan na siya. Soon,
magrerelease ng regulations for the bikers and cars. Bridge,
bike lanes, etc.
ii. Mawe: Starting discussions, crafting policies. More faculty use
bikes than students. For career series integration: partnership
will be limited. Theme of the lobbying concern, will be to
expand career fair. Willing to accept, as long as I give a list
from all 16 reps. By Wednesday next week, if you can convene
your reps, sino ang gusto nila makita sa career fair?
Organizations, NGOs firms, etc, please send it to me latest
Wednesday morning.
iii. TJ: Required mag helmet?
1. Madel: It depends pa in the future.
2. PROMOS COMMITTEE REPORT (Danni and TJ)
a. Danni: Discussing know your reps. If you arent aware, we will be
having a know your reps DP change. Photoshoot is on December 2-5.
Three photographers, requiring that everyone have their photo taken.
We will be sending you the times. DP change will be on Monday Dec.
8. Blasting at 9pm.
b. Danni: Were actually lacking photographers.
i. Hamoy: Dimla.
c. Danni: Color codes. For uniformity, and we dont want to come off as
too strong. No white for the tops. The purpose is to let reps know.
d. Danni: Committee questions. Tarps that will promote the actual
committees. Question, then what committee it should be under. Really
about branding. Consistent spiel.

i. Ray: a good way to

convince them is to have someone accountable to them. Face.
1. Danni: one central location where they can send their
questions?
2. Ray: Lets put faces. Kahit random student there. Parang
may mas tama siya.
3. Alex: Maybe it will be distracting.
4. Karlo: Maybe theres a link, structure of Sanggu. We
dont have a hierarchy right now.
5. Jared: Tarp to have the structure mismo?
6. Madel: ASCC?
a. TJ: Binalik ko sa Sanggu, sabi ni sir rem.
e. Danni: Can we have the committees send us a short description? List
of accomplishments too. Ryans asking for a blast on that. By tonight
or tomorrow morning yung descriptions. Any more projects that need
promoting? Contact me or TJ. Whenever we see promos that dont
come from us, nawawala consistency. Contact us as much as possible.
Give us the plan one week before. All about cohesion, timing. Send us
the promos, so we are sure its in line to make Sanggu united visually.
We need more people for promos! Give us names of people if you
know them. DPR more on marketing strategy. Allowance from you
guys, we dont do creatives.
i. Polo: Yung gusto ni Ryan i-post yung accomplishments
tomorrow night. Poll?
1. CJ: Info lang tonight, blast on Monday.
2. Polo: Comprehensive briefer? Blasting a report, or
promos? Brief and marketable if its in a poster.
3. Ray: Maybe we can make it like the election manual.
4. Polo: We cant do it in one night.
5. Danni: Like an album? Text heavy, but easy to read.
6. Mawe: Centralized?
7. Polo: Yes.
8. TJ: It will be a weekly thing.
Hamoy and Yap left the meeting and are AWOL. Number of members
present does not reach quorum. Minutes unofficial from this point.
3. UP MASKIPAPS
a. Maskipaps event. 250 php. Were here to invite you to be in
partnership.
b. NJ: top DJs. We have participants from the top 4 schools. Maximum
exposure if you partner with us. Ticketing parter as well. 250 php, 300
php gate price. Mas mura if partner kayo. Papatulong kami magpost
ng posters sa campus. And also permits and etc. Posters and tarps.
Tarps around QC as well, tarps include your logo. Event on December
15.
i. Polo: Condition of partnership?
1. NJ: Details are on this document.
2. Ray: Partner up with orgs, not student government. We
dont host parties much talaga, just school nights and

culminating
nights mostly. Maraming orgs sa Ateneo.
3. Karlo: December is just full of parties. Saturated yung
parties sa next month. I guess you can forward it to me,
but I cannot make any promises.
a. NJ: Contact details na lang?
4. Louis de Jesus: At least 69, 000 php? What else do we
get?
a. NJ: Exposure sa posters/tarps, after-movie, etc.
4. SOM CONCERNS (Alex)
a. Input on something. Secently, the SOM SB launched our concern
form. About anything about school. Weve received one ranty post
from a constituent. A lot that are CB related. Here are some, I just
need input on my responses:
i. Why do some Ateneo offices close at 11:30 and open at 1:30?
1. Officially mandated.
a. Karlo: OAS lunch break they spend the time fixing
their shit.
ii. Why do teachers get paved parking, and students get gravel
and sand?
1. Irrigation. Not paved because it prevents flooding. Pero
bakit nga sa teachers paved?
a. Ray: Ayaw mo mahassle ang prof, since
mahahassle din students niya. But I agree, its not
a necessity.
b. Polo: Nasisira suspensions ng cars.
c. TJ: Mawawala na rin lahat ng parking in the long
run. Parking building, paid.
iii. Why does OAS have to be a total douche about things?
1. Meeting with OAS already about this
iv. Why does Ateneo have a bad traffic scheme?
1. Ray: Nagiba traffic scheme sa Katipunan. Masama ba
impact? Since it affects the whole MM not just us.
a. Polo: Not just the scheme, just the influx of cars.
Multifaceted.
2. Mawe: Dealing with these issues systematically. Trikes,
bikes, then traffic.
v. Why cant Ateneo renovate buildings instead of putting up
Arete?
1. Arete is helping Ateneo, and the budget is made because
of urgency. Nothing urgent is in need of renovating in the
other buildings.
vi. Why are bicycles allowed to use the road?
1. Ateneo is environment-friendly, walk-friendly, bikefriendly.
vii. Why are trikes not fined when crossing from Gonzaga to their
station?
1. Bring it up with the admin. c/o mawe.
a. Ray: Release some memo shit.

viii. Why is there are there

cones near Bellarmine?
1. Used to be an accident prone area.
ix. This is another student: A prof, Abesamis, always late to class,
teaches too fast, etc.
1. Beadle supposed to forward to ADAA, or CAA.
5. NEW TRIKE FARE & BIO COMPLAINT (Mawe)
a. New proposed not final fares, and the established routes. Any point
from Ateneo to katipunan: 30 php. 24 php after student discount.
Ateneo to Ateneo, 20 php, 16 php for students. Ateneo/Katipunan to
UP Town Center (Church) 30 php. 40 php to inside UP Town Center
since the u-turn is farther away.
i. Louis: dapat mapublicize na 24 instead of 30.
1. TJ: Charge us the students fare.
a. Mawe: Mas mura pala eh. 25 dati kapag walang
discount. Binigyan nila ako ng document, may
corresponding charges.
b. Polo: Paano marereport?
c. Mawe: Will explain later.
b. Historically, increase is 5 php. I told Sir Noy, sir Mendoza may
distance matrix, numercally represented. Also asking Sec-Gen for
archives, na pinirmahan natin. Nawala ng trike drivers, nawala ng
FMO, CMO.
i. CJ: Saan nakuha yung 10 php in UP town price? Its not that far.
ii. Karlo: If there a time when it stops being implemented? Like at
night?
iii. Madel: Weekend, holiday?
iv. Jared: Implement new ID or sticker from Sanggu?
v. Louis: Promo or sticker on the trike 24 hindi 30.
vi. Ray: Trike driver rejects?
1. CJ: Dapat bawal.
2. Ray: Pero I know where theyre coming from.
3. Mawe: Sabay-sabay na mai-implement lahat ng new
rules.
4. Polo: Are there specific grievances?
5. Mawe: Yes.
6. TJ: Ano ba talaga concern ng students? Its not the price,
we just want a fixed rate.
7. Mawe: Solution pa lang ngayon, report it. When it comes
with the trike fare system, not just our concern, also
FMO.
c. Ill release this memo tomorrow since may Colorama tonight. For now,
current trike fare matrix will be implemented. Overpricing should be
reported, highlight this part. Just release this tomorrow.
d. Complaint coming from SOSE. Nov. 14, 5th year complained regarding
generator malfunction. Destroyed thesis specimen of the student.
Architect has fixed the problem regarding the Sec B backup power
supply. Kung pwede marelease tomorrow.

a. Di pa tapos PR committee,
expect call from me later. Questions for each committee kailangan.
SST Updates: Annual Christmas party for non-teaching staff. 435
guests. It is not attractive for sponsors. Proceeds from consignment
and sales will go to this. Naapprove before you guys came in, but Sir
Chris was complaining after.
i. Ray: The complaint is pera ng students, bakit napupunta sa
ibang tao. But they dont have a say, we already decided.
TJ: If youre free, please help us. If you know groups who can perform,
tell us.
TJ: Updates CBA. Baka di sya matuloy.
Polo: Briefers per committee?
i. TJ: For the first time, so detailed and summary version.
ii. Cj: Parang yung midyear report.

DISCUSSION
o Karlo: Theyre failing 400 people by not showing up.
o Polo: If its their 4th time to be absent, they can be impeached.
o Ray: The people should have the power to impeach them.
o TJ: Medyo madumi yung Sanggu room. Food ban kami eh.
