It also features a heavy bass drum and snare cross-stick on the third beat and guitar "skanks" on the second and fourth beats. The first two groove examples presented start with fundamental one-drop patterns, while the third and fourth are variations of a "steppers" groove with a four-on-the-floor bass drum pattern. The example tune provided flips the typical verse/chorus structure to a chorus/verse and includes an extension as a tag.
