    OUTPUT PROCEDURE Make JSA

    Take the Work Permit Make sure that the coupling half of both the pump and motor is fixed properly in the shaft. Position the motor over the base plate and put the foundation bolts. First adjust the alignment with the help of steel scale and spirit level. Minimise the misalignment. Take the dial gauge and place it on the pump coupling half. Note down the dial gauge reading in all the four points. Adjust the motor vertical alignment by inserting shims below the motor base plate. Other horizontal and axial alignment to be made by adjusting the position of the motor by just giving a tap in the base plate. When the dial gauge reading becomes equal in both top, bottom and right, left side, the alignment is said to be perfect. Tighten the base bolts fully and once again check the dial gauge reading. After the final alignment only put all the coupling bolts and tighten. Clean the equipment and work area Cancel PTW. Note down the vibration reading.

    QUALITY All the parameters, activities are maintained within prescribed limit. Any deviation from the norm is recorded and corrective action is taken accordingly.

    ENVIRONMENT OHSAS Ensure PPE, Helmet, adequate lighting near the work place. Ensure the lifting tools are in adequate condition. Ensure proper earthing of the equipment / area of work as the case may be. Ensure healthiness & safety of the entire activities with respect electrical system.
