Product Description :
Asian Paints Exterior Wall Putty is a specially designed product based on white cement , redispersible polymer and functional additives for application on exterior rough plasters to give a smooth finish .

AP Exterior Wall Putty provides a smooth and uniform finish to rough plasters .
The product has the following Features / Benefits :
Good workability. Does not require curing with water . Good water resistance. Good Tensile Adhesion Strength, Compressive Strength and also Flexural Strength. Controlled water vapour permeability. Excellent Abrasion Resistance. Resists the growth of algae and fungi on wall. Good intercoat adhesion to Emulsion Paints.
Recommended Usage: AP Exterior Wall Putty is an Exterior Putty that can be applied on all types of Exterior cement plasters , exterior ceilings ,asbestos sheets ,concrete etc.
Recommended Application: Cleaning : Ensure that the surface to be painted is free from any loose paint , dust , oil or grease .Any previous growth of fungus ,algae or moss needs to be removed thoroughly by vigorous wire brushing and cleaning with water .

Filling : Surface imperfections such as holes and dents are to be filled using a mixture of white cement and fine sand in the ratio of 1: 3 . Apply AP Exterior Wall Putty followed by Topcoat as Product Code follows : Product AP Exterior Wall Putty . First Coat . By Putty Knife . AP Exterior Wall Putty . Second Coat . By Putty Knife . Precautions : 1. Refer to the MSDS for detailed information on safety measures while handling the paint . 2. Before application of the material surface should be clean and free from efflorescence/ lime blooming . 3. Do not apply the material without prewetting the surface for first and second coat also.
Post Application Instructions For the best performance of the topcoat ensure proper washing and cleaning of algal or fungal growth if any at regular intervals . 4. Ensure that the material is mixed homogenously with water and allowed to stand for 5 to 10 minutes before application.
5. Do not sand the material vigorously with emery paper otherwise it will reduce strength of the material. 6. Do not apply the material to fill the structural cracks .
7.Though the material is non-toxic ,care should be taken to avoid dust inhalation while mixing and handling . Pack Sizes and shade : Pack Size availability : Twenty Kg packing . Shade : White
