A clip from Dame Maureen Lipman's first recorded performance as Joyce Grenfell (in the sketch "The Committee"). It was recorded in the summer of 1982, and broadcast on 10th July 1983 as part of the programme The Green Tie on the Little Yellow Dog (made by The Bright Thoughts Company for Channel 4). Unseen for nearly 40 years, Dame Maureen also performed "The Girl at the Station", and "Maud".
