The Father: From Sundance to The Oscars
Vietnamese-American Filmmaker Tiana Alexandra-Silliphant joins French writer/director Florian Zeller at the Sundance Film Festival to discuss working with Anthony Hopkins on his first feature film, The Father. Tiana's first feature film was awarded at Sundance, and Zeller's feature film debut has gone on to garner six Oscar nominations and wins for Writing (Adapted Screenplay), and Actor in a Leading Role. Florian talks about the authors who have influenced him, and how international writers should persist, despite government controls and censorship.
