A lot of new faces, with a veteran (Prakashraj) have really created magic. The plot is different and moved briskly, without undue stagnation. The screenplay and dialogs have been handled well. Prakashraj, as always, has delivered a sterling performance, and is ably supported by newcomers Navdeep and Arya. Both the young men appear perfect for the parts- Navdeep looking like the innocent and delicate young man, with Arya looking like a thug in the making. Samiksha looks vacant but thankfully, her role is not key to the happenings. The humor keeps this fast paced movie very lively and is very enjoyable. The story seems to meander along in the first half, but picks up pace soon and is racy all the way to the end. The climax is a little expected, but no less enjoyable. The songs are an unexpected bonus- melodious and very well pictured. Definitely a couple of hours that are worth it!
It has been a very long time since something decent and palatable has come out of the Tamil film industry. Though many may call this syrupy, it has to be said that the movie is clean, the humor good, songs excellent. The story centers on the life of Parthiban (Srikanth) and his vision of a dream girl- Sneha. The plot moves along at a brisk pace without stagnation . The climax has been handled very maturely and is in striking contrast with some of the contemporary movies. Sneha and Srikanth have given good performances, and the all the supporting cast are up to the mark. Vivek's comedy reminds one of Thangavelu from Kalyaana Parisu, but is still quite enjoyable.... makes one wonder why he cant do more such decent comedy! All in all it is worth watching once, especially in the company of person whom you may be trying to impress!
