This was really bad. So bad that we shut it off after about a half an hour.
The acting and filming was terrible and super low budget as was the music which didn't seem to fit.
This could've been a pretty funny movie, but I thought the lead actress wasn't funny at all and neither was the ghost of her ex-boss - that's as far as we got.
This seemed very forced and really wooden. While Karen's are a thing now, and deserve to be completely lambasted in the movies, this one wasn't doing it for us.
I recommend that you avoid this one and look for something else that isn't so self conscious and poorly put together.

I went into this with pretty low expectations, just looking for something decent that was Christmassy to watch.
Dickens' "A Christmas Carol" has really been filmed to death with not too much variation among the many different versions other than the film visual quality usually gets better with each production.
This version had a refreshingly different and welcomed spin. The cinematography was brilliant, a very good looking film. The soundtrack was also very well done and very well mixed. There was none of the "What did he say?!?!" going on that, seemingly, every new movie has.
The actors were great throughout and the way that the film turns into a bit of a fantasy bio was also a really nice touch.
No explosions. No fight scenes. A good story about a good story. If you have a limited attention span, this may not be your jam. I though it was really good.
