The movie theme is good. Acting by Mukta Barve is also good. But as you are engrossed in the first half, the story takes a serious turn. But here the director fails. The court scenes, arguments by the lawyer of the accused is filmy, non realistic and stupid. One should have more knowledge about how such hearings are conducted. The climax is super comic! The heroine takes the law in her hands and punishes everybody responsible, just like a south Indian movie. All this shabby handling downgrades the film to mere 3-4 ranks.
The movie in general is good, acting is ok and characters are simple. But the title is not true to the subject. The great Picasso was more famous for his abstract paintings, and not for realistic drawings. More time of the story is focused on the local Dashavtar drama part, which is portrayed realistically. Father of this gifted son is also a multi talented personality. But due to poverty, he cannot give justice to his natural skills. He dreams big for his son. Then the director should have concentrated on his drawing and sculpture skills rather the mediocre acting in traditional drama. Overall, the team of this film is good but they have missed their goal.
