How can anyone not see that this is exactly how this country is today? This was a great movie, its a comedy and. I did laugh some but, its actually sad how close it is to reality. Performances were great, script was really good. Definitely cant wait to re-watch. I wager that anyone giving this less than a 6 are probably in the don't look up camp. That's the only way this is bad to you. You must see yourself on screen and don't like how you're being portrayed, well, I got news for you, Its 100% you but, it does not have to be, just look the heck up! People refuse to believe that money has this much control over society and the world. Just gonna bury your heads in sand until the comet hits huh?

Some things are hard for me to stomach, some scenes cause me discomfort but, the show overall is good, so far. Have to ignore the tom foolery and you'll enjoy it. I don't think certain people will care for much of it because it does not shy away from race. An accurate depiction if you ask me. The characters feel very real, I cant think of any character that plays any sort of noticeable role that does not feel authentic. Well, maybe the main character in a way, as everyone feels as if they are life long, born and raised in Jamaica, Jamaicans, Miller, doesn't. Wait a segundo, she was born there but!......this is a pretty good watch.

This is a good movie, not great but good. Directed well, and good first shot by Elba. The only reason I can think people hate this is because its a movie about brown people directed by a brown man.
