Last Days (2005)
Boring trash, go watch AntiChrist instead
This movie is just boring as all hell. Seriously there is no plot, just long boring scenes of a Kurt Cobain wannabe walking around the forest humming, peeing, swimming, and other unnatural stuff.
Go watch Anti-Christ instead.

Judas and the Black Messiah (2021)
A great mix of pure adrenaline filled action, suspense, thrill, and acting
This movie had way more action than I thought, reminded me of "Heat" in a way. There are moments where a group of people have to fight or defend an area, and it is well done.
Acting is good of course, pacing is great, and overall this movie wasn't so "in your face" and "preachy."

American Skin (2019)
Another month, another Black struggle film
This plot has been done many times already, and this movie is a little bit too edgy and preachy for my taste. This is very similar to a film Nate did recently called "The Birth of A Nation," another Black struggle film.
This movie "America Skin" looks pretty cheap to be honest, and that is my main issue. It really looks like a tv movie quality. I wished this movie had a bigger budget, it looks very clean in the sense of a "poor lighting and poor color correction" sense.
Overall, this movie just isn't as good as other "Black struggle" films. It is extremely preachy and in your face (Hey White people, stop being racist), very amateurish feel to it (kinda like a first year college student trying to make a message film), and overall this movie is just poorly written (a lot of over-explaining to the audiences) and badly acted.
5/10 (Not a very well done film in terms of filming.
WWE Icons: Yokozuna (2021)
A beloved person
Yokozuna, one of the most amazing performers in the WWF during the 90's, has sort of been forgotten by time. His WWF run was rather short but extrememly memorable. Fans from the 90's will remember him but anybody born after the 90's will probably look to their Big Shows or Brawn Strowmans of the world. Yokozuna was the first super big wrestler who was able to kick people in the face and fly in the air. He was a lot bigger than bam Bam or Vader, which makes it even more impressive.
This documentary is rather somber, and some of his closest friend do get emotional during this documentary.
It is a good documentary, keeping the spirit of Yokozuna alive. Great wrestler during his prime, and apparently a great man in real life. Unfortunately his weight became a huge problem, with him gaining masive amounts of weight in a short time. This also had to do with him finally making a lot of money and enjoying the specialties of success.

The Boondocks: Return of the King (2006)
Funny but at the same time deep and real
This entire episode builds up to the final dramatic emotional speech from Martin Luther King Jr. What he says is the truth. Al Sharpton, relax man, stop complaining about the truth.
"This is what I got all those ass whoopings for?"

Halo 3: ODST (2009)
Retrospective review (Not worth full price)
This game is 100% not worth full price at launch, surprised so many "professional" game reviewers back then gave it 9's and even some perfect scores.
The campaign unfortunately is extremely lackluster, at least 70% of the missions are bland and uneventful. Sure it builds up to a cool climax but when the first 70% involves you going from point A to point B in either empty battlefields or a dark empty city, it doesn't warrant the full price at launch.

Halo: The Master Chief Collection (2014)
(PC Review) Worth it
I believe it is the first time any Halo game past Halo 2 (not including the RTS games) is release on PC. This means you can now play halo 3, ODST, 4, and Reach in 1440p+ resolution, 100+ FPS. The online is back too so right now there is a pretty big group of gamers online. you don't really have to worry about joining games as it tends to find player pretty fast.
~Now not everything is great, some of the early Halo games have not aged well in my opinion.
~Halo 1 aged the worst and have the worst levels as well as the worst final escape sequence i've ever played. The vehicles control like total garbage in that game. Also the first half is great but the second half becomes really boring and repetitive, with stages going on and one forever which feels like an easy way to make the game longer. It was totally unnecessary.
~Halo 2 is better but the online is rather bad now since the weapons kinda suck. Also the story is good but it ends very suddenly and anticlimactically . The stages are shorter but there is still a bit of "filler."
~Halo 3 is a lot better and there isn't much to complain about. The final escape is way better than Halo 1's.
~Halo 3 ODST is BAD (the main campaign is extremely lackluster, with stages that are uneventful and just boring to play through. It just builds up to the final 2-3 missions)
~Haven't gotten to Halo 4-reach campaigns yet.
Overall I got it at a cheap $25.00 and it was worth it.

Legacy of Kain: Soul Reaver (1999)
(retrospective) Badly aged unfortunately
2021 here:
This game has aged badly in my humble opinion, it is still technically playable but I don't think anybody 20 or under will be able to deal with this game's clunky mechanics. It is not completely broken like the PS1 Tomb Raiders game (Which is unplayable compared to modern day games).
The biggest issue is that you get easily lost all the time. The combat is ok at first but it does not improve at all. It is extremely basic and honestly not fun. I found myself running past enemies most of the time. You can spend time doing long side-missions for upgrades and new moves but it completely pointless in my opinion. You don't need any of the upgrades because combat is really bad and you have maybe 5 different enemy types. DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME ON THE UPGRADES.
Boss fights are ok but some are very bad because of the camera. It has that PS1 camera where every time you turn the camera either turns with you or gets crazy and jumps all over the place. Platforming is terrible too.
Overall the best thing is the amazing voicing acting and music, but gameplay itself, time has not been kind to it.

Alone in the Dark: The New Nightmare (2001)
Better than RE in some way, and worst in others
First off I would say this game's gunplay is a lot better than Classic Resident Evil games. You have two different aiming mode, one is a typical Survival horror aiming but this time you can move, the second is a full 3D aiming which allows you to aim at specific places. This alone makes the gameplay better than Resident Evil (In terms of shooting).
Moving and other stuff is the same as Resident Evil, you have tank controls, fixed camera, and a lot of backtracking.
Now the bad thing is that the gameplay is very clunky, even for a 2001 game. You get keys but there are no real clear information on where to use them, so I just ended up using the keys on every door to see which one it opens. The good thing is that most keys are just used once and they are gone. A bad thing is that you don't automatically use the keys so if you have more than one you will have to go to your inventory and press "use" on both keys to see if either works. This becomes tedious very early on. If you ever played the very first Metal Gear on the MSX, it is very similar to using keycards in that game.
Another bad thing is that the enemies are extreme bullet sponges. Unlike Resident Evil, enemies in The New Nightmare does not react to your shots (for example they don't really move back and they don't fall down). This is a problem because if there is an enemy or enemies in front of you, you can't run past them and have to kill them. You will spend an entire clip on killing one of these creatures. There is really no strategy, you can't aim for the legs, shoot them, and then run when they are down. Also enemies to respawn so it is very frustrating when you clean a room of enemies, then come back later to find them back there but this time you are low on ammo.
Another thing is the game isn't really scary (although there are some nice little jump moments). The reason is that these creatures aren't scary, they are inspired by Native American folklore and H.P. Lovecraft.
Anyways, this game is just "ok."

Songbird (2020)
Who made this and why?! This movie will be the butt of all jokes in 2023.
According to this movie by 2023 anybody gets covid will be sent to a death camp and get murdered. Anybody who is immune to Covid will be called a mutant. The world can only be saved by the power of love. LOVE man, LOVE.
This is some Half Life 2 s.h.i.t going on here, it is absolutely silly and just straight up dumb. Who came up with this idea? Also this movie has some of the worst vomit inducing action edited scenes ever.
Skip this, this is straight up just some dumb teen romance movie with actors who are DEFINETELY NOT teenagers, not even close.
Also this movie is bound to be made fun of when the year 2023 comes by.

Cyberpunk 2077 (2020)
It is playable and there is nothing completely broken, but it is also a huge buggy mess man
(REVIEWS AT LAUNCH) Honestly there isn't really a big thing that separates this game from other first person shooters. This isn't WITCHER 3, which had a huge lore and amazing world building to it. Witcher 3 has elements of other stuff but it is mostly its own thing in terms of weapons, magic, and story.
Cyberpunk 2077 is basically Matrix mixed with Deus Ex, mixed with Bladerunner, mixed with Butcher Bay, and a little bit of Witcher 3's level system.
The shooting is fine but I prefer Rage 2's shooting system. The one thing people will say about this game AT LAUNCH is the funny and sometimes gamebreaking glitches that happen. An example is; I plugged myself into a machine to hack it and then I froze and couldn't do anything, I've seen cars float in the air, dead bodies buried half into the cement ground, dead enemies disappearing after dying, enemies who are alive but just stand there looking at you, enemies getting their limbs stuck on a door and they begin convulsing, enemies who can disappear disappear underneath cars and get stuck there, and so much more.
Oh boy, CD RED will probably fix these issues but yea, most people are right when they are talking about the problems. THIS GAME NEEDED ANOTHER 6 months - 12 months of development time. Honestly it should had never been released for PS4 & X-Box One because those are basically unplayable slideshows. This is a PC review using a GTX 2080S.
The graphics are a mixed bag, the lighting, guns, and cars look good enough, but MY GOD the characters faces are a blurred mess. It seriously look like early PS3 faces. The characters tattoos are a huge ugly pixilated mess. It is unbearable to look at. The textures on the wall, candy machine, items in shop, posters all over the cities, and newpapers are completely horrible. It looks so pixilated.
Overall at Launch I would say it is still a 7/10 because the world is big enough and the shooting is decent, just have a camera nearby because I have been taking pictures of glitches to show people.
Ai-naki mori de sakebe (2019)
It is good but man, it is too long
This movie could had been cut down to maybe 1.45 - 2 hours and it would had still worked. This movie is a little over 2.30 hours and it kinda drags a bit. Also the special effects are kinda bad, (minor spoiler) the dead bodies look very fake, like something out of a Halloween shop.
It does have it own eerie weird thing going on, but I feel that the story is so long people will lose interest after the 90 minute mark.
7/10
Ribâzu ejji (2018)
A weird, quiet, but interesting Japanese film
This movie is one of those weird, very quiet, but intriguing films. There isn't really a plot to begin with, there are just characters and they just go through the motions. It is interesting enough if you like these type of very dark, very quiet, slow, but intriguing films. Every character has their own thing going on, for example one guy gets beaten up a lot, one dude likes to have sex all the time, one girl likes to eat food and vomit it out, and another character is "normal."
I do like this film and it has some graphic sex in here.
Another good Japanese movie that most Westerners will probably not like, but if you are into Japanese anime, manga, ultra dark and disturbing Japanese stuff, this is a movie for you.
8/10
Begotten (1989)
Good "movie" to watch if you wanna fall asleep
This ain't really a movie, just some very distorted and blurry images. Seriously, it is call disturbing, but you can't even see what is happening half of the time, just some black and white stuff. You get occasional muted sounds and stuff, but overall it is not scary at all.
I feel that this is the director just filming random stuff, and then you have those "art house" people who will defend stuff like this by saying "you just don't get it."
Sorry but this is barely 70 minutes, and it is extremely boring. It looks like a film made in 1900, as opposed to 1989.
American Murder: The Family Next Door (2020)
Low on information but intriguing
This dude is pure evil, I tell you what. Tried to lie to the media, his families and friends, but man, THAT NEIGHBOR, he already knew. He knew right away, GOD BLESS THE NEIGHBOR.
9/10.
Kuon (2004)
Hidden Gem of the PS2 era
This is one of the best horror games on the PS2. It truly is disturbing and quite scary. I usually don't get scare playing game but this game really does chill you to the bones, while offering a great and interesting story. This game has a great ambient feel to it, one of the best on the platform.
The graphics are great and it moves at a steady 60fps. The controls are good but the combat is pretty clunky though. Thankfully you can run from most encounters.
Lastly, the music and sound effects are up there with Fatal Frame 2. This is still top notch.
Overall a great game with an awesome story, unfortunately the combat is the only downside to this game because it is rather clunky. The horror parts are chilling, and the final hour or so are very epic.

Dark Side of the Ring: Benoit - Part Two (2020)
Scary stuff, but very interesting
Part 2 deals with the murders committed by Benoit, and they are disturbing. We get some never before seen pictures, as well as first person descriptions from the cop who actually found them. This is some great stuff here, especially if you are very interested in the Benoit murders. You get reactions from his son and his sister-in-law, his friends, as well as those in the industry.
They do try to come up with an explanation for his murders but ultimately nobody knows what happened, he just literally went crazy. The WWE obviously doesn't ever want to mention Benoit's name again, but you can't pretend he never existed.
10/10
Dark Side of the Ring: Benoit - Part One (2020)
Pretty good Benoit documentary
Eerie, disturbing, and at the same time informative. You do get a nice build up to Benoit's fate, and this documentary does what a great documentary does, which is give you information you never heard of before. We learn stuff about Eddie, his relationship with Benoit, his death and how badly it affected Benoit. It is a great documentary, but part 2 is where the really interesting stuff happens.
Silent Hill 2 (2001)
Honestly, this is the worst of the 4 Silent Hill games
It is not a bad game, but this game is very clunky, some pretty bad camera, and it just isn't really fun to play honestly. There is also surprisingly a ton of backtracking, as well as the game being so dark at time you literally cannot see what you are doing. James is actually a horrible human being, and you can't relate to this guy at all. Once you figure out what he is about, he is not of an antagonist than protagonist.
Silent Hill 1 is better because it had a nice mystery to it and there really isn't that much backtracking in my opinion. It also has a better protagonist. Harry is a great character.
Silent Hill 3 is better because the graphics are amazing, the combat is actually realy nice, and the story is great.
Silent Hill 4 is just plain awesome.

Fainaru fantajî IV (1991)
The first "great" Final Fantasy game in the series
Final Fantasy 1,2, & 3 are ok games I guess, but FF4 is the first one in the series to actually be good. There is an actual story, real character motivation, and a real RPG element gameplay.
The issue for me is that this game (along with pretty much JRPGs of the 90's) is super grind heavy. You pretty much have to spent a lot of time just battling, and these turn based battle systems are really boring and the worst parts of some JRPGs. It gets to a point where enemies become so strong you have no choice to spend time just walking around engaging in these boring turn based battles.
Anyways, play it on a SNES Emulator and just speed up the battles.
8/10
Zero: Akai chou (2003)
Still brings chills to my skin 17 years later
This game is so dang good looking, it could easily pass for an early PS3 game if some of the textures were updated a bit. The character models look really nice, and the sound is still the best that a horror game ever produced. It is very creepy and amazing. Good voice acting too.
10/10
Naega sarinbeomida (2012)
Good dark thriller with a weird out of place "slapstick" comedy action scene
This has a great story and a great payoff, but there is a very weird and out of place middle action scene that suddenly turns to the "3 Stooges" for some reason. It is a slapstick, super crazy, action scene that takes place during a car chase. Also the final action scene felt a little unneeded, since the movie already pretty much wrapped up.
8/10
The Last of Us: Part II (2020)
Same as the first, no real improvements, bad "edgy" story though
Gameplay is almost the same as the first. There aren't real big improvements besides a few minor tweaks here and there. If you played the first game, it is almost the same. The gameplay is still pretty intense at times and some of the kills are pretty brutal. Voice acting, Graphics, and sound are obviously top notch. Probably the top 5 best looking PS4 games.
Now the biggest thing that people will talk about is how the game makers treated one particular character, literally playing "Mario Golf" with this character's head. The story tries way too hard to be "dramatic" and "edgy," but it just fails. In the end nothing is really accomplished, there are no real goals (unlike the first one where they are trying to look for a cure). There is also a real-nasty sex scene in this game that made me wanna gagged. It was gross bro, trust me.
Overall the game is still good if you don't care about story, just straight up gameplay, but it does have a lot of moments that are scripted. I THINK SOME REVIEWERS ARE BEING PAID TO GIVE THIS A 10/10!
8/10
Kiss of the Dragon (2001)
In Jet Li's top 3 best English films
This is probably jet Li's best English speaking film in terms of fighting. The fighting is really good, and there are less wires than Romeo Must Die (Another fun action movie).
Overall a good action film, and a good Jet Li movie.
Da 5 Bloods (2020)
Uneven films, great moments mixed with a clustered story
The acting is great in this movie, and there are some really moving scenes in this movie. You do get that nostalgic brother love between these guys, the plot starts off really good but it becomes way to clustered in the mid point.
This film is just a little bit too long, and it is just a weird thing to have very serious drama mix with cheesy "70's type" action. The action scene in Vietnam looks like a B movie action from the 70's, something like Black Belt Jones.
The last 40 minutes is kinda a drag, and it goes on way to long, with a final speech that is way too long.
7/10
