Please watch this movie it's better than all the movies that came out in the last 5 - 10 years!! This is a perfectly executed action movie so refreshing. I am so sick of superhero movies remakes reboots vomit. This is fresh original the partner ( the girl ) is superb way better female action character than anything else I've seen before. If you don't like this movie you are a certified dummy. This should be a 100% rating everywhere honestly. The one shot sequence is breath taking and I don't know how Chris did it but god damn man the physicality is SPOT ON in combat. Exceptional movie more of this Hollywood PLEASE NO MORE SUPERSHITOS!!

Let me start by saying I am a film enthusiast. I watch a lot of movies and usually am not too picky at all. I know Noah Baumbach and like his movies. But there's usually a breaking point where I will stop watching if the story is not going anywhere... This film does exactly that. It seems like it's engineered to make you stop watching it right at the half mark! What the hell? It just drops the interesting premise and goes back to the babbling which was the worst part in the first place! This is an exercise in lazy writing if anything... It's as if the writer started writing it and just went aaah screw this script and called it white noise which is exactly what it is.

Man... This is hard for me to admit I'm a huge NWF fan but I think he went too far with this one. Someone should've held him back a little bit the man clearly can't help himself... The premise here is interesting but by the second episode I couldn't with all the long shots. It looks good and I get what he's going for but atmosphere can only be used so many times before you tune out! Let me summarize this for NWF fans: Did you like drive? That's easy everyone liked drive so let's move on. Did you like the neon demon? If no then this is clearly not for you!... Otherwise for me: I liked it. Alright then did you like Only God Forgives?? If it's yes then congrats this is for you, you are a true believer. If you weren't a fan still give it a shot but I doubt you will last 2 episodes. As for the peasants out there: DO NOT EVEN BOTHER! My family said and I quote "well this is weird..." needless to say I watched the second episode alone before coming to the same conclusion. God bless you NWF but you need to get out of your head. Story and pace needs to be prioritized over style and introspection otherwise only snobs and artists show up and that would just be an absolute waste of your talent.
