I'm sorry I couldn't give this a zero star. The whole premise of the movie is some sort of frankenstinien jumble of characters and storylines that are just not relatable to the Starfleet universe or set of ideas. The thing just isn't cohesive, it's big bang and big budget but not Star Trek. Michelle's character is awkward, intent on looking good and high fashion but her character doesn't fit in with what we previously know about the character.
The creators bring in token characters from the franchise but know nothing about them and so tarnish their origins and canonical storylines. Stop playing around with Star Trek, I won't be watching anymore and this also goes for Strange New Worlds. The writers and showrunners mess with stuff they know nothing about. Enough is enough.
