  • Almost perfect.

I absolutely love this movie, and have done since its initial release. It features one of the best ensemble casts in any movie, ever. All the actors are completely at the top of their game, and the movie is thrilling, engaging and funny. The film score by James Horner with Branford Marsalis is timeless.

There is no part of this movie that isn't completely entertaining. The scenes with Robert Redford and Ben Kingsley are phenomenal; tense and loaded in all the best ways a drama can be.

Mary McDonell is just perfect in this movie, her amusing putdowns are utterly charming.

Hats off to the casting of the actors for the young versions of Redford and Kingsley too, spot on.

A near perfect movie, and I don't say that often.

  • Worthless shile of pit

This is the worst found footage movie I've ever seen, and I love that genre, so I've seen a fair few. There is literally no redeeming feature at all.

Everyone involved in this movie should be thoroughly ashamed.

The lead character is one of the most repellent characters I've ever seen in a movie and the constant scattergun obscenities were neither funny nor necessary. There was no single moment past minute one where I wasn't praying for her to suffer a protracted and violent demise.

Seriously, I don't know what the makers of this film thought they were achieving by presenting a vacuous, vile, selfish, unpleasant peice of excrement as a lead character.

Irrespective of what I thought of the effects, the storyline, the direction... all of it rendered meaningless by that disgusting lead character.

And then to have THOSE end credits?!?

    Utterly baffling.
