The film is a bit low on entertainment value, as it plays more like a documentary, but it's really worth your time if you have the heart for it. Michael Pena, Rosa Salazar, and several of the supporting cast put in some outstanding performances. A few of the details have been changed for flow and dramatic effect, but nothing that appears to appreciably alter the true story of one of NASA's most persistent astronauts. The film includes some actual footage of Hernandez and the US space program, including some rather poignant images and references to the Colombia disaster. The film should be a great marketing tool for the space program.
