I was young when I watched this, it was on television and there were no DVD's back then. So I did not watch every episode. But I really enjoyed it.

You have the big storyline, where a genius kid (the pretender) is taking to a facility where they test kids. He managed to espace when he is an adult (I think, it is along time ago), because he wants to find his parents. But he is being hunted down. So to hide he helps other people by pretending is has a job, like a fireman or doctor. And later on you see that the hunters will need to handle their conscience and start to ask questions.

So I never know if he finds his parents, but it made a big impact on me. There are some deep lessons, like get to know some one first in real, the love you need as a kid, the helping without needing something back. The loniless you can feel and many more.

The acting was great! The characters were very well developed. I want to see it again!

After many disappointments like episode 7, 8 and 9, the Mandalorian, Boba Fett and Obi-Wan Kenobi (could not finish it) there was suddenly a new hope with Andor. More with Asoka. The Acolyte did suprise me on a whole other level. It was horrible and very good at the same time. So I was looking forward of Skelton Crew.

After the 2 episodes I must say that I enjoyed it. The casting seems to be good, the acting is believable, the story is a bit simple and not original but I enjoyed watching a full alive Star Wars world. It hugs you like a warm blanket, it is sucking you in to see all the details. Everything looks amazing, the scenes are great and I must say, the kids are not anoying. They are on the edge, but I believe them. I think this is great for kids, but also for adults.

And again we are getting a mystery, right after the Acolyte. I wonder what they will make of it. I enjoyed watching it, but it can goes many ways from this point. Let's hope they keep the quality high.

I am browsing IMDB and suddenly see the X-files, but I did not leave a review yet. I watched this on DVD. I was young and had a long vacation, so I bought these big boxes. I was hooked... I guess I was laying the whole day in bed only watching this.

It has one big story that never ends (it feels like that). And every episode you get a different story and after a few you get the main story back. It is a bit like the Pretender. Wait... I must review that one also :p. A good main story and then a lot of small stories but with the X-files it are mostly good stories. They feel different and you are mostly surprised. I did not have the feeling you get the same over and over again. But I was young and hooked, I still have the dvds so I can watch it again. And I will.

First I did not like the series because everybody was talking about Gillian Anderson, so I never tried it because of that. But later on I gave it a try and the acting is good, the story is good, the shots are good, the special effects are good, everything is just great! There were episoded that made me left thinking about things. Later on you could feel the series would come to an end, that they come back... No need to do that. But still on a bad day, the X-files is far more better then most series these days.

I like fantasy and sci-fi and it ticked all the boxes for me. There is action, there is tension, there is fantasy, thinking, mystery.

Ok this review makes no sense I guess, but I really liked it ;)
