I remember seeing this the first time and didn't really watch it as closely as I have now with my son. First, I would like to say the movie is great! One of Disneys best films. With that said I just noticed some things that got my mind curious.
First was the timeline, 700 years I know the writers are giving the more time to clean up and become sustainable again, but 700 years is so much time that you have to question some things in the movie that don't add up. 700 years go by on a planet with harsh conditions would have destroyed most items the movie shows. There is no way paper would be legible, batteries to be able to work, (wall-e s place, paper money and news papers on the ground, video monitors working, Wall-E being able to survive, metals deteriorated, car alarm chirping, just to name a few). Then there is the aging, did you notice all the captains were over 100? There is no way they could live that long on the diet they eat.
The trash, in this money is an eye opening experience to the way the world is heading but I don't understand why stacking them high would be helpful? Also side note, why would Wall-E not take two cubes of trash up the high rise trash building, one in hand and other in him? Trash on the ship? Why so much and why dump in space? But think about it, the ship appears to never dock for supplies, so where is the trash coming from?
How space works. When Wall/e takes the plant out of his chest to give to Eve would destroy the plant instantly.
Aging if people. Anyone else notice how people looked normal in the beginning to later become cartoon characters later in life. Was this some hidden prank by writers?
Type of movie that gets your head spinning is all, but in the end a great movie.

This movie is so good in many levels and serious meaning behind it. The world needs to watch this as we have become so ridiculous with social media and technology. This movie would be true if we can't stop the anti Christy of technology control our world. It already has with 2020 and 2024 elections as people in the US are niece to believe to be true with no research of facts. Ignoring our life and loved ones to watch a person inbox's a bike is not exactly future generations should be doing. I'm taking my first cruise this month and already have this movie on my mind of what it could look like.
It was all about mater than the main character so not really a good idea as a producer. Why not just have this movie be on its own and instead of making it number 2 of hit movie. This decision from Disney just seemed off and pretty sure someone got fired for this movie. Why take a hit movie and completely change the plots and star of the movie. I don't think that's ever been done before. Seriously take the lead character, make a second movie but make the lead different in the second movie. Then of course back to lead on third, which was much better and good plot. I like mater but should have been a side movie and not waster a number 2 title is all. The movie wasn't really that bad just disappointing they did it.
