Personally, I found this movie grossly overrated. While the storyline was a good one, the characters were the most annoying bunch of people that while it could be said that that was the point...it made the movie irritating to watch. I wanted to slap both Maya and Dana, everytime they opened their mouths. And yes, I have encountered both types in my travels and would definitely not want to watch a movie with either of these characters in it. Then there was. Clay...another self-absorned inconsiderate idiot that we've all run ito at a food line. For me, the irritating nature of just these 3 made me want to throw a brink at the TV. If you add all the rest of the miscues in the production ie continuity and timeline, I can't recommend this movie to anyone over the age of 25.

If you, like me, love Christmas movies that centre around Christmas magic...this is another one to add to your annual watch. I personally find all the rom/coms that use Christmas as merely a backdrop kind of cliched. This one is different. It is heartwarming and humourous with Doris Roberts (Everybody Loves Raymond's mother) as the instigator of all the fun and special occurences. She nails the role, but the rest of the cast is also well chosen and fit the movie perfectly. I highly recommend this film to those who just want a fun entertainment. Three of us watched it and laughed throughout. Don't miss this one.

I haven't seen a movie with this much white knuckle actions since the first Raiders of the Lost Ark. Unlike so many movies today, this one definitely does not start off slow. The actions starts right off and roller coasters through the whole film. I'm not a Vin Weasel fan, but I was impressed by how he's matured as an actor.

I'm usually not impressed with all the 10 ratings that people (or bots) give to second rate movies, but in this one it is all the 1 ratings that are ridiculous. AND the remarks about Jason Mamoa are just plain stupid. I was blown away by his range as an actor. Most actors simply play themselves over and over again, but in this film, Mamoa pulled out all the stops and gave a hilarious performance as a complete psycho villian.

The casting was great with a lot of my favorite actors doing cameos that really added to the film. Finally, this movie clearly showed that you can make a GREAT action movie without stooping to endless streams of F-bombs which is far too common in the movies now. For all those who just want an ENTERTAINMENT without agendas, vulgar language and oandering, this is one for the record. I highly recommend this film for the whole family.
